Sustainability: Alternative Source of Water Supply for Katherine

This study discusses the alternative source of water supply for Katherine, NT to prevent contamination of perfluorooctanesulphonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA). The study elucidates an alternative source of water supply with the help of Local Council elected member so that the source could continue providing them water for almost two years till the completion of the treatment plant. The alternative source of water supply is associated with the project that is investigating on renewed groundwater sources. The study also discusses the conservation and management of aquifer for the purpose of drinking water.
