INTRODUCTION
This is the report that has the main aim to show window display shopping. It is based
on the topic which is sustainability which plays a very important role in today's business
environment as it becomes ethical responsibility for each and every person (Purvis, Mao and
Robinson, 2019). This report will cover research in which there will be a small discussion of
the topic and a mind map on ethical responsibility. In addition to this, there will be a
discussion of concept building and ideas expansion, shop window design explanation analysis
and shop window design presentation.

PART 1- RESEARCH
Topic
The topic which is selected for this report is sustainability. Sustainability is defined as
a societal goal which has a name for a human to safely coexist on the planet for a long-term
period. It is concerned with meeting its own needs without compromising the ability of future
generations (Nishant, Kennedy and Corbett, 2020). It is necessary to understand that
sustainability is not just environmental but also includes many more activities and those
activities that provide an impact on each individual.

Ethical responsibility is defined as the ability to interpret, recognize, and act upon
multiples values and principles.

 If an organisation is performing ethically then it provides many advantages as it
makes a better workplace culture and also able to build customer loyalty.
 In the case of not ethical, the organisation faces some disadvantages and limitations
which include lack of management support and cost.

Shop window display ‘descriptive’ analysis
The two images are selected in which one of them is of New Look and other one of
them is of Zara. The window is selected by New Look which is found to be a well-known
organisation in the United Kingdom and the picture shows the clothes which are hangout in
their Store. The outlet looks were very nice as they used simple lights but focus on the
effectiveness of lights which enhance their products in front of the people. The window
includes a picture of the clothes and the products of New Look.
New Look used yellow light colour which is found to be a ceiling light that is
available in a large number which makes the product more attractive. The window look will
definitely attract the individual and convince them to come to their Store (Barbier and
Burgess, 2020). This is the main reason that they choose lighting because it enhances the
product's beauty and features. The company is using sustainable sourced cotton that makes
their business sustainable.
The Zara is found to be well known because of fast fashion and they are also popular
for their window shopping. But if we compared Zara with New Look then it is very clear that
New Look is more sustainable than Zara. The reason behind this is that Zara releasing
chemicals in the environment that makes the worst position of environment.

sustainable if they want to survive in the market. It provides the customer loyalty as
well as able to build a reputed position in the market
 If they are not make the business sustainable like Zara then they are not able to
survive in the market.

 It is identified that organisation needs to work sustainably if they want to survive in
the market.
 Sustainability does not only include environmental things but is also present in every
activity of the organisation (Sarkis, 2020). For example, an Organisation is not
behaving equally with the employees so it is not included in sustainable behaviour. It
is also a part of sustainability.
 Sustainability increases the success chances of an organisation because it creates are
trust in the customer that will result in building customer loyalty.
 A company can achieve their goals and objectives only when they make a good
position in the heart of every potential customer which can be possible with the help
of sustainable nature (Fu, 2020).
 Now it becomes the necessity of every organisation to perform sustainably because of
reducing the negative impact of unsustainable behaviour.

Describe your shop window design
In my window design, I preferred eco-friendly nature because sustainability is a very
important role as it becomes a necessity in today's environment (Wamsler, 2020). In order to
combat then why mental challenges which include climate change and other pollution it
becomes necessary for every organisation to take the right step that can possible with the help
of changing their business operations into sustainable business operations.
Explain what is the concept you are exploring?
I am exploring sustainability as it becomes the responsibility of each and every person
to behave sustainably so that our future generations are able to meet their own needs. This is
the main reason that I choose sustainability in my window shop.

What theory is your concept linked to?
In this concept theory of sustainability is linked which pressurize organisations to
focus on each and every activity and business operation that should be transformed into
sustainable business activities.
What aspect of sustainability is relevant to your concept?
Sustainability is not only required in environmental changes but is also very important
to present in every business activity. It is the responsibility of the organisation that they
should behave equally and well-mannered with each and every employee as it is part of
sustainability.
What are the advantages and disadvantages to your concept/theme?
 Advantages include increasing customer loyalty as well as the image of a company in
the market.
 The disadvantage of the sustainability theme includes less profit margin and the
requirement for high efficiency and productivity.
As producers of this window design how do you want to impact your viewer?
The window shop should be designed in such a way that provides a direct impact on
the views and should click one important fact that sustainability is the need of the
environment. The viewer should understand from my window design that it is not only the
responsibility of the organisation but it is the responsibility of each and every individual to
behave sustainably then only they are able to make a sustainable environment.

Introduce your shop window
The windows shop which is selected is mainly focusing on sustainability and that's
why each and everything is designed according to the sustainable fact. The window shop
includes less use of plastic and more use of eco-friendly things which includes eco-friendly
lights, wooden chairs, etc.
Explain the concept
Window shops for clothes are become very common in now these days and it is found
that organisations spend a large amount on windows that they are able to make attractive in

order to attract customers to their organisation's products and services (Fischer and Riechers,
2019). But they will forget that sustainability is the key to success and growth and it is the
responsibility and necessity of an organisation to do any activity by considering its
sustainable nature. That means they need to make their windows shop with the inclusion of
sustainable.
What issues and solutions your project addresses
 There are many types of issues found in this process because developing sustainability
is not an easy task. It requires a lot of effort and a long-term period which will not
necessarily result positively.
 In order to solve these types of issues, it becomes necessary for an organisation to
make a strategy or plan in which each activity is shown in a systematic way and make
a budget that helps to resolve all the problems.

The theory which is related to the topic is sustainability theory. In this theory, the
organisation needs to focus on each and every activity that should be performed sustainably
so that it will be able to achieve the organisational objective and goals.
How it relates to sustainability
Window shop for clothes is necessary to relate to sustainability. It can be possible in
many ways in which organisation needs to include every possible factor that helps them to
make a sustainable business. It includes the lights which used by windows shops should be
eco-friendly and they should use solar panels which makes the environment friendly
behaviour. It is necessary to reduce the use of plastic. In addition to this, every person should
play their own role with responsibility and ethics.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded from the above discussion that every day the demand for
sustainability is increasing and this is the main reason that this topic is chosen for a window
shop. Windows shops generally avoid sustainability and this is the reason that this report
analysed the way in which they can be used. It is also analysed from the report that there are
many types of issues faced in this process but the organisation needs to perform ethically than
only they will be able to make a sustainable business.
