Reflection
Week 6 :
During the 6th week I got to learn so much about the module and various foundations of
Business Communication and how Business Communication helps in better interaction among
individuals and groups in order to achieve business objectives. During the beginning of this
module I was not sure if I could be able to understand the concept of foundations of business
communication and was really confused between some concepts. So in order to understand these
foundations of business communication I developed two business skills. One is the
Communication skill that involved confidence, active listening and developing skills to actively
listen to the sender and give proper feedback. These skills also helped me to prepare proper
structure of reports, it also made me understand the report better and to communicate and
discuss with my tutor in the class.
In addition to that Problem solving skills supported me throughout my assignment. Problem
solving basically involved various methods to find solutions for complex issues. These skills
helped me to find appropriate ways of writing my assignment and also helped to prepare my
reports in a structured form and avoiding mistakes while referencing. During my assignment I
realised that there is need to developing business skills such as ICT and Numeracy. This week
my experience my so filled with so many new concepts and I really feel positive about my
studies. This entire week helped me to learn new things and develop skills to do my assignments
and made me feel more confident and motivated.
Week 7:
During my 7th week of learning , I was not-sure about the concepts and models of
business communication so in order to understand the concept in a better way I used business
skills which helped me to solve my problems and prepare my assignments more effectively.
Problem solving skills helped me to solve various issues and helped to develop more creative
ideas it also helped me to discuss in a better way with my classmates and tutor and managing
conflict at work. Numeracy helped to develop logical thinking and reasoning strategies in day
