community engagement is to promote the programmes of women empowerment and health

Economic sustainability
The economic sustainability refers to those practices that supports the long-term economic
growth without providing negative impact on the social and cultural aspects of the community.
This strategy mainly focuses on increasing the productivity of the economy by protecting the

sustainability approach.

employment to the people also refers to performing the social aspect towards the people that are

in the economy. As a result, the stability of economy increases.

Resources are the crucial elements whether they are man-made or not. Using excessive resources
will create the drastic situation for the future generation. There is uneven distribution of the
resources in all over the world. Therefore, it is important to maintain these resources. Otherwise,
this will create the problem for the future generation. The concept of sustainability also focuses
on the future aspects. Under economic sustainability approach less wastage of resources has been
included in terms of maintaining the resources in the economy. So, the economy can grow more.
Paying fair taxes- Paying taxes by the business organization contributes towards the GDP of the
nation. The GDP determines the economic stability of the country. More number of taxes results
in increasing the government budget. And this enables the government to perform various
programmes in favour of the society. For example: Government provide help to the companies

by implementing various schemes for them. This is the duty of business organizations that they
have to pay fair taxes in relation of performing their responsibilities towards the government.
One of the strategy that has been included under the economic sustainability is that the
operational practices of the company does not provide any negative impact on the environmental
sustainability. (Schaltegger, Hörisch and Freeman, 2019). This has been included under this
because, not harming the environment has been considered as the part of economic
sustainability.
