SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 3
Introduction
The tax on carbon would increase the benefits of carbon dioxide taxation, the cost of
competitiveness of alternative power. The main agenda on the carbon tax is to
decrease the greenhouses gas emissions are based on tax fee charges on fossil fuel
and how much carbon is omitted when burned which makes it more advantageous to
the government and the stakeholders. The increased concentration of carbon dioxide,
studies have shown that it makes the earth greener and also increases the process of
photosynthesis. However, spurring plant growth while rising carbon dioxide
concentration in the air can be beneficial for plants and is also the chief culprit of climate
change to the environment. Carbon dioxide has a vital role in vital plants and animals'
processes such as photosynthesis and respiratory system.
Carbon dioxide emission causes the shift of production; it is possible that business
established will require more operations to the regions that have no carbon tax (Arneth
et al., 2017). It will cause an impact on the economy, especially when the tradeoffs
would not go through to help the economy in creating unemployment to many people.
Carbon dioxide cannot be stopped by carbon tax but can change where and how it is
manufactured. It promotes clandestine operations, and it brings about the odds of firms
looking for ways to use it, such dirty tricks and bad strategies to manipulate the system.
The major problem is these establishments would hide about their entire operations,
producing carbon dioxide in a way it could add to more pollution of the environment. A
scientist should put in mind that unethical carbon dioxide and combination with tax
evasion produced in the atmosphere could be deadly (Sköld et al. 2018).
The Purpose of the study
This purpose of this paper is to identify and understand the role played by carbon
dioxide in affecting the environment. Green plants convert carbon dioxide and water into
food compounds, such as glucose and oxygen. It is well known as the photosynthesis
process; this makes it healthier for human consumption. One of the common things
taught in biology class is that animals inhale oxygen and plants exhale carbon dioxide

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 4
(Hisatomi, 2017). However, plants inhale carbon dioxide during the day and release
oxygen at night. The energy and sunlight used in plants are converted into carbon
dioxide and water to sugar and oxygen.
The scope of the study
The paper will cover on the production of carbon dioxide; the processes involved that
lead to environmental implications and the possible solutions. Carbon dioxide is the
smoke produced by burning products like gas, coal, and oil for the use of energy or
power. It is also changed the climate complexity for communities and consumers. It is
how carbon is implemented in the footprint for a business; it could be the emissions
produced in the manufacturing of products or the power consumed for daily operations.
Thesis statement: Carbon dioxide are omissions that should be checked by
governments and organizations for sustainable climate change to be successful.
Role of organizations in Carbon Dioxide emissions
The number of greenhouse, gas produced by each company, occasions or
organizations are explained in tons of carbon dioxide. A business can also be affected
by the rule implemented by the government to help comply greenhouse gas reduction
targets. If most of the company is related to energy, one should consider intensive parts
covered by the scheme. One must report and achieve objectives to minimize carbon
dioxide emissions. Carbon footprint has been realized that it is the most significant
energy contributor, often accounting up to 50%. The government should now consider
on recycling more waste products and send less to landfill and also reduce fuel use
sustainable procurement's carbon footprint for a business could be emissions produced
in the manufacturing of goods or the amount of power used for its daily operations.
Agriculture is one of the most substantial supplements globally emissions by sector,
with methane accounting for just under half of total agricultural emissions (Lopes &
Lèbre, 2018).

Some other way a government can reduce carbon dioxide emission pollution in the
industries is by balancing small levels of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses
increasing. If a lot of heat is trapped in the earth, it increases the temperature and raises
the climate change which affects the rising of the sea level, flooding, droughts or a
range of life co-existing on earth. Not only is the impact of environmental of
greenhouses gasses known and can be seen to the public, but it also carries high
expectations for future regulations. In addition to that, minimizing carbon emissions
often goes hand in hand with energy cost which can provide a critical business
advantage. Carbon oxide is one of the most abundant gasses in the atmosphere. It
plays a vital part in plants and animal processes such as photosynthesis and
respiration. Sunlight, chlorophyll and carbon dioxide are needed during this process. It
has been discovered that photosynthesis takes place during the day. Green plants
convert water and carbon dioxide into food compounds such as glucose and many
others fit for human consumption and also its ads advantages to both consumers.
For example; consumers, communities and stakeholders, during the manufacturing of
soft drinks it has been versioned that carbon dioxide is used as a preservative. It is a
chemical substance that is used to prevent food and beverages from going bad. It has
also been discovered that carbon is also used in making fire extinguishers. Carbon
dioxide does not support burning, and that is why it is used to put out the fire. The main
aim of the conception of carbon emission is to ensure organizations and companies that
emit a large amount of carbon dioxide will reduce, if not eliminate their emissions which
minimize pollution and the impact of global warming.
Positive implications of Carbon dioxide emissions
Carbon dioxide is sustainable and suitable in the human body because it is considered
as an avenue for the body to remove all unwanted products from the breathing system.
It is vital for the performance of the body. Carbon dioxide also comes in another form of
matter apart from in gas. It can be condensed and accessed in liquid form. When a
state or region does not have affordable financial sources of obtaining energy, carbon
dioxide can be used as a source through its emissions. The whole world feels the
effects that climate change brings. In the situation of real energy challenges, in both

terms of suitability and sustainability use of resources and emissions of carbon dioxide
and securing energy supply. The future is, however, undetermined and there is room for
research to explore other impacts of carbon dioxide.
Current implications of Carbon Dioxide emissions
Climate change is endured globally, and its effects have become severe as more
industries emerge in the market. Every individual who is living in the world should
ensure that they do not participate in the addition of carbon dioxide emissions into the
ozone layer. All homes should buy equipment and machines that are eco-friendly
(Arneth et al., 2017). Previous research on the emissions of carbon dioxide into the
ozone layer has discovered that its high concentration is due to the production of power
in the form of electricity and heat. The government and states should ensure that they
use alternative methods such as hydropower and geothermal to substitute with carbon
dioxide. They know the areas that consume a lot and can mitigate through policies to
ensure that the changes are made.
It indicates that the greenhouse gas emission carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide,
and many other gasses are measured by global warming potential. All the other gasses
that have not been mentioned but contribute to global warming potential, based on
radioactive capacity compared to carbon dioxide (Lamb et al., 2016). The energy part is
the root of the development of a country as the sectors of the economic infrastructure is
cons and. In the current situation, sustainability development includes meeting the
energy demands not increasing energy supply but through reducing energy
consumption by improving technologies.
Carbon dioxide is a concentrated effort to products less waste and consumes more
recycled energy. It also inflicts expensive administration cost. For the government to
implement the carbon tax, because it can be costly it would need a substantial amount
of money. If sufficient funds were not at their disposal, it could be worse, and it would be
difficult for the government to implement such rules and making them non-ineffective as
basically, it needs money to ensure it works correctly. It has also been frequently

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 7
discovered that it is difficult to determine the actual external expense and the imposed
tax amount, which needs more money and time as well.
The ongoing argument of whether global warming is dangerous or not, eyebrows have
been raised on the kind of benefits the carbon tax will bring also remain. The affected
firms and organizations that will significantly endure this problem; it will look at it as a
bane while the weather-focused people will view it as a good thing. Based on merits and
demerits sited above.
Recommendations
To purchase green electricity.
The future energy prefers the renewable sources of electricity like the solar, wind and
wave power (Rahman et al., 2017). Due to technology the green power can be
produced but delivered the same way as other sources. If people decide to take up this
method, technology has to be invested in which also reduces the cost of delivery.
Walk, cycle or use public transport
Getting more people to walk, cycle and use public transportation is one of the solutions
as the carbon dioxide emissions would reduce (Chapman et al., 2018). The main
reason behind this is that the use of public transport would make the government
improve on public transportation. However, when the larger population depends on
public transport, it would reduce the emissions compared to when different individuals
use their vehicles.
Minimize the amount of heat-trapping emission exposed to the atmosphere.
The good thing is that there are technology and practical solutions at hand to
accomplish it. As per person, it can assist by finding ways to reduce personal carbon
emissions (Stevanonic et al., 2017). To overcome these threats of global warming, the
government should take action on how to implement and support a comprehensive set
of climate solutions like expanding renewable energy and transforming the energy
system to one that is cleaner and less dependent. For instance, fossil, fuel, and coal.

Also by increasing vehicle fuel efficiency and supporting other solutions that reduce oil
use. Building a clean energy economy by investing in energy technologies and
companies.
Individuals should also stop cutting of trees to avoid global warming.
Deforestation increases the rate of global warming. For instance, when there are trees,
they can attract the carbon dioxide in the air, but if the trees are cut down, the carbon
dioxide will be absorbed in the atmosphere causing more harm (Aragao et al., 2018).
International action should be taken through leadership which is so demanding, but it
can work out the reduction of emission. For the government to incur these efforts
regularly, they should send experts like scientist, and meteorologist.
Buy local products.
Foods produced and transported in long distance absorb the carbon dioxide. However,
individuals are encouraged to buy locally produced foods that might lower the carbon
dioxide attached to it (Brook, 2018).
Recycle and re-use
To reduce the emission of carbon dioxide, individuals are encouraged to recycle and
reuse the materials instead of burning them out which might lead to the emission of
carbon dioxide (Ho et al., 2017).
Conclusions
Finally, if those in power can join hands as leaders and try to find solutions on how
carbon dioxide emission can be suitable and sustainable to both plants and human it
would be better. The government should also forget about pockets that are satisfied
with what they earn and look into tax carbon how it affects the economy and
environment. Deforestation is also one of the significant problems locally; still, our
government should find a way to stop it because it does not affect plants and human
beings but also animal's co-habitat in the forest. Animals that live in the forest lose their
home if trees are cut down.

Globally the internationals should not be encountering such challenges because it has
more reliable and potential resources they can work with hand in hand to overcome any
calamity brought by carbon dioxide and the carbon tax. Researchers should also assist
by discovering possible ways to control greenhouses gas produced.
