Goal no 1- End poverty in all its forms everywhere.
As mentioned in the 2030 agenda for sustainable development, the first goal is end of
poverty in all its forms everywhere. As per this goal, by the year 2030 extreme poverty for
people everywhere should be eradicated. By the year 2030, at least half of the men's proportion,
the woman and the children of almost all ages who are living in poverty should be reduced in all
the dimensions as per the national definitions. An appropriate social protection system has to be
implemented and measured and by the year 2030 a substantial coverage of the vulnerable and the
poor people has to be achieved. As far as the role of business development in ending poverty in
all its forms everywhere is concerned, it can be said that markets in the developing countries
have dramatically expanded where the volume of the funds coming from the private sectors.
Nowadays, the world has made the private sector to be one of the most significant influences of
global poverty (Sdgcompass.org. 2020). There are few groups which are disproportionately
presented among the financially poor people and face some constraints as limited access to the
production of resources and markets in terms of escaping the poverty. It consists of the people
with disabilities, women, the indigenous people and children. The businesses like the Royal
Bank of Canada can be a significant contributor in this regard. This business and its subsidiaries
operate under the brand name of RBC. It is the biggest bank of Canada consisting of the
operations such as personal banking operations, the retail investment businesses, the institutional
investors and others. The company should ensure that they meet all of the responsibilities for
respecting the human rights consisting of the rights of such groups. The business further have the
scope of taking corrective measures for addressing the constraints which are faced by such
groups. It can be done through innovative services and products, inclusive business models
which can meet the requirements of such groups in a better way and through leveraging rare

perspective of such groups as employees, consumers, the distributors, the suppliers the
community members and others.
Goal no 2- End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable
agriculture
The second goal is to end the hunger, achieve the food security and improve promoting
sustainable agriculture. According to this goal, by the year 2030 hunger should be ended having
ensured that all people can access sufficient food, nutritious food throughout the year. The goal
also implies that by 2030 there would be end of all types of malnutrition and the needs of
nutrition in the adolescent girls, the lactating women, pregnant women and other older person
will be address. Also, by the year 2030 there will be double production in agriculture field and
incomes of the indigenous people, the farmers, the pastoralists, the fisherman will be increased
along with paving way for scopes for non-farm employment and value addition(Sdgcompass.org.
2020).. In accomplishing this goal, there is a huge role of business development. The Food and
Agriculture are usually at the heart of Civilization and success. The agriculture field suffers from
many challenges and the business can contribute in solving all of these problems, end the hunger
and improve the Food and Agriculture system. In this regard the department of Agriculture and
Agri-Food can be extremely useful. It is the department of the Canadian government having the
responsibility of production governing, policy making, marketing of the farm and the agri-based
products. They should implement the sustainable practices and work in partnership with the other
actors throughout the value chain of the agriculture consisting of the production, input, return
and distribution and the empowerment of small farmers. The increasing of Agricultural
productivity and livelihoods of the farmers in the development of consumer awareness and
