The topic of the “Green Human Resource Management” is important as it helps an
organization in focussing on the aspect of the environmental sustainability. It accepts
dominance pertaining to economic performance maximisation that helps in the developing of
an organization. The green human resource management (HRM) can help the manager in
increasing the job satisfaction of the employees that helps in augmenting the performance of
the employees within the framework of an organization (Kostova, Roth and Dacin 2008). It is
crucial for the manager as it helps the managers in mitigating the risk that helps in offering
protection to the organization. It reduces the need of an organization of depending on the
energy along with the water needs. The managers can adopt the strategy of going green that
forms a part of that of Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. In the event of working in
Bulla dairy Foods, I found out that rewarding the employees for the sustainable green ideas
can help an organization in making the profits. It helped the organization in earning a large
amount of the revenue that helped it in succeeding within the competitive environment. The
managers in an organization should be imbibed with the altruistic motivation that can help in
the growth of an organization. The process of the selection and the training of an organization
should align with the mutual interest of stakeholders along with the employees. The
sustainable human resource practices can lead to low health harm on the employees along
with the supply chain.
The topic of the social sustainability talks about how the societies can manage
material condition of reproduction that helps in distributing the environmental resources. I
have learnt that it helps in signifying the relationship in between nature and the society. I
have been able to gather the knowledge that the preservation of nature can help in normative
claims of the social justice (Unglobalcompact.org 2019). The adopting of the HRM
strategies can help in enabling achievement in relation to the financial, ecological along with
the social goals. I have been able to learn that GRI refers to framework that helps in the

reporting of the environmental along with the social performance. The institutional theory
helps in providing the theoretical basis that helps in understanding context of strategic choice
of organization. It helps an organization in developing the strategic choices pertaining to the
organizational practices. This is important for the managers as it helps an organization in the
developing of the business strategies along with the activities. The GRI guidelines can be
followed by an organization that can help an organization in achieving the goal. It can help an
organization in reducing the negative social along with the environmental impacts. I have
also been able to understand that the negative effect of that of strategic HRM theories is on
account of the fact that it raises the operational cost of an organization.
The sustainability reporting is indicative of organizational report which provides
information in relation to the economic along with the environmental governance
performance. I have been able to learn that sustainability reporting helps in internalizing and
improving the commitment of an organization to that of the sustainable development. I learnt
that non-financial reporting is indicative of a recent trend that has helped them in being
accountable to the government. It has helped the organizations in acting in a transparent
manner. It helps the organizations in improving the sustainability performance that helps an
organization in making the profits (Guerci, Shani and Solari 2014). I have gathered the
knowledge that sustainability reporting helps in presenting the values of an organization. It
helps in demonstrating the link in between the strategy and the commitment to that of the
sustainable global economy. The building along with the maintenance of the trust can prove
to be fundamental that can help in the achievement of the sustainable economy. I have been
able to understand that sustainability reporting helps the organizations in considering the
effect of the issues of sustainability. It helps the organizations in being transparent regarding
risks that are encountered by them. The stakeholders play a crucial role in identification of
risks for an organization. I have been able to learn that sustainability reporting helps in
