INTRODUCTION Sustainability is a broad policy concept and includes three mainpillars environmental, economic and social. It is the concept under which the aim is to sustain for longer period of time. Due to rising pollution there are major issues that have undertaken in society at global level(Fu and et.al., 2021). It is peak time to understand follow sustainable practices in order to minimise the negative impact. There are various aims and objectives that are being formulated by the government and it becomes essential to follow them. This report is based on “The Carbon Emission Reduction Dilemma”. There is target plan being formulated under Paris agreement that includes goals and objectives. In this report, there is evaluation related to the agreement and the actions that can be taken to achieve the desired goals. MAIN BODY The Carbon Emission Reduction Dilemma The EU wants to be carbon neutral by 2030. For the reason there was a meeting naming COP26 which is one of the most significant climate moment since the 2015 Paris Agreement. The main focus was on reducing the carbon emission. COP stands for Conference of the Parties that have signed the agreement to follow the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) . The planned to cut the greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030 so that the target of being carbon neutral can be achieved. It is important that all the sectors of the economy contribute to the process(Nilashi and et.al., 2019). All the actions must be taken according to the goals being set in the agreement so that target plan can be achieved. The time is critical for the world and if the suitable actions will not be taken than the problems will get enhanced. All the communities are working to follow the actions and manage all the aspects that they can do. They want to become net-zero greenhouse gas emissions and by working on the standards set in the Agreement the same is possible. How the EU will ever achieve this target and comply with the projected goals and standards of the Paris agreement The objectives being set in the 2030 Climate Target Plan are as follows: To set cost-effective path in order to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. To create green jobs and regularly track EU's greenhouse gas emissions
To encourage the international partners that will enhance the ambition to limit the rise in global temperature. It will help to avoid the severe consequences. It is seen that, EU is working on all the goals and objectives effectively. They have planned to achieve their targets for the reason the sustainability is being followed. They are working on reducing the carbon footprints so that they are able to reach near to their target. All the policy makers and investors are working in effective manner to achieve the targets of the agreement. They all are working in responsible manner so that all the issues can be solved. All the people are working to take care of these activities so that the overall aim can be attained. The use of right actions by all the people will help EU to achieve the targets(Ahmed, Thompson and Glaser, 2019). All the challenges are being faced by the people and now the strategies to overcome them are followed. The use of such strategies will be beneficial for the success and growth of the organisation and the overall nation. Along with that regular check of the climate with the help of proper monitoring techniques. The actions are taken in all the important areas such as drive livelihood improvements, and job creation biodiversity restoration, to deliver a just transition to an environmentally friendly, regenerative economy (Practical Action at COP26 UN Climate Change Conference 2021). They are using finances is proper manner so that the aim is achieve properly. Inclusive practices are being started by the people and each individual is contributing to the success of the nation. The trust of government is being used in positive manner and both local and national community are contributing to success of the nation so that real success of the company are attained. All the stakeholders are being involved so that they can also contribute to the success of organisation(Burciaga, 2020). The public consultation that invites the stakeholders are being increased so that action and policy design that are necessary for deeper greenhouse gas emission reductions. Will organisations in the western world truly become carbon neutral and achieve zero emissions by 2030? There are positive steps that are being taken by the business organisations in the western world to achieve the target of zero emission. It is important to motivate them and value their efforts so that they are able to beat the environmental challenges and the devastating impact they are causing(Arora, 2019).
