INTRODUCTION
Climate change define as the long term changes in the temperature and weather specimen.
These changes can be natural such as from variations in the solar pattern, but it is found that
human activities are more responsible for the climate change (Sigala, 2020). Primarily because

Changing customer perception:
Because of changing consumer behaviour, it is affecting the approach which the
businesses proceed with, as consumer in the market has raised the demand for organic and
sustainable product. Thus for producing such products requires a large amount of investment, as
shifting towards green is quite challenging as for installing the facilities that control the
emission, systems to monitor the emission of greenhouse gases required a large capital
investment, thus it is a threat for the businesses across the world.
Conversion in resource availability and cost:
Extreme warm weather is threat for the supply chain as getting the resources and
materials on the time is now a biggest challenge for all businesses. Severe draught and other
natural calamity has lead the disruption in farming because of draught there is a shortage in crops
that utilised for foods, apparel and all other goods (Steiger and et.al 2019). Rise in expenses for
the logistics, electricity is increasing the prices of moving the products. Regulatory prohibition
on products is also associated with the climate change increasing the cost. Unavailability in
resources forcing businesses to utilise the resource alternative and proceed with recycling and
source reduction.
Changing regulations:
Regulations that are implemented for preventing the pollution also has significant impact
over the business. Businesses that has large amount of emission must have to invest substantial
funding towards installing their services to reduce their greenhouse gases emission and focus on
controlling it otherwise they will have to face the legal actions to not comply with regulations.

The way which the businesses can reduce their carbon footprint are as follows:
Reduce the energy consumption:
It is one of the effective approach which the businesses can do as to decrease the

of the lights and other machineries after office hour ends, also by paying more attention towards
the daily activities, will help out the businesses to save energy and resources that do not impact
on climate.
