deals with the sanitation, hygiene and availability of clean water to everyone. It will analyse the
social media conversations for evaluating the extent and impact of consciousness regarding
sustainable practices for sanitation and pure drinking water availability.

The twitter searches have been conducted with the above mentioned search terms. From
twitter searches it has been analysed that the sustainable goal of clean water availability and
sanitation has been raised by variety of groups. It is challenging task for all nations to ensure that
the clean water is accessible to every individual. Different entrepreneurs and geologists have
raised their concerns on this issue. Social workers who work to improve the quality of drinking
water actively discuss the issue on twitter.
Sanitation is essential component for healthy living. Thus, issue has been raised by
sanitation departments, common people and municipal corporations who held the responsibility
of healthy society. The world bank of Africa has also expressed its concern over sanitation.
Different officials of nations such as Indian president, governors and higher officials of Finland,

Findings using TAGS
The awareness of sustainable goals and concerns among people can be identified by the
good number of tags and social media conversation on the issue. For instance total 2,748 tweets
were made between 12 and 22 October (11 days) and out of these tweets 2,745 tweets were
unique. Similarly, total 1480 tweets were found related to sanitation in the same time duration.
These social conversations demonstrate that people are aware regarding the issue and make
attempts to achieve sustainable goals. In the same duration 5738 numbers of tweets were
observed for sustainable development. These findings are also illustrated below through
screenshots of tags spread sheet.

ensuring the availability of clean water and sanitation management. The United nations has
formulated following targets for achieving this sustainable goal.
To ensure the that clean water and sanitation facilities are available to everyone by 2030.
It also has special consideration for needs of women and girls.
By 2030 UN aims at minimizing the pollution, hazardous discharge into water bodies and
to encourage efficient and wise use of water resources. UN aims at target that all nations and local authorities supports water and sanitation
related programs and integrated water management system must be implemented at all
levels.
Target chosen for business: Organisations must fulfil their corporate social responsibility. They
must make strategies which reduces the water pollution produced by business organisations.
They can support water and sanitation management by implementing it within their organisations
and by encouraging their employees.
