promotion and spreading awareness relative to the heritage along
with the dimension of environment. These polices all the
destination to increase its attractiveness and overall quality and
experience for tourists.
 These polices are beneficial for both the local community as well
at the visiting tourists and help in the enhance in growth of the
destination.

Issues and challenges of implanting sustainable
policies and strategies
 The issue of controlling and coordination large
number of visitors cause challenges for the
implementation of sustainable policies and strategies.
Due to over crowing at destination rules and
regulations are ignored by both the local community
and tourists.
 The need for finances are really essential for the
implementation of sustainable polices and strategies.
The various organisation is tourism industry are not
keen on spending extra financial resources to
introduces sustainability which makes it challenging.

pose as a challenge in implementation of sustainable
policies and strategies. This is due to the
requirement of maintenance of the destination and
its attracting during the time of low visitors. This
causes neglect relative to the environment and the
local community.
 The situation of COVID-19 and other such scenarios
also cause challenge in the implementation of
sustainable policies and strategies. Such scenarios
reduce the number of visitors resulting in less
emphasis being placed on the maintenance and up-
keep of the destination leading environmental
damage. Moreover, this reduces the satisfaction of

 From the above presentation it has been analysed that, sustainable policies and
practices are crucial for a destination in order to survive in the market and ensure
attracting large number of visitors.
 These sustainable practices promote structured growth and development of the
destination along with assistance in increasing the satisfaction level of both tourists as
well as the local community.
 It was also determined that there are various challenges that cause hindrance in the
implementation of sustainable polices and strategies.
