acquiring sustainable development of business, well-being of human, improving the existent
living style of people, representing as well as protecting natural heritage & civilisation and many
more. But it has been recognised that companies falling under tourism industry are having so
many fundamental issues , that is why they are also becoming failed in attaining the same. The
present report is based on sustainable tourism development. In this context, case associated with
Qatar is going to be discussed. Qatar is considered as most developing country in all over the
world which comprises of most well - organised tour and travel industries. In this report, aspects
of stakeholders has been covered. In addition to this, various benefits and limitations of private
or public aspects tourism designing relationship is also explained properly.

tourism will assists to attain maximum number of visitors over the globe. Further aims of tourism
are – increase tourists satisfaction level through social and economic advancement of the nation,
consolidation of community of a nation etc. Along with this, tourism development planning at
various levels is emphasised on national, international, sub-regional and regional plans
(Aldebert, Dang and Longhi, 2011). Following is describe features of tourism planning are -
International level: It encompasses more than a nation and areas, i.e. global
transportation services, group action among regulatory body of member countries, regional

polices and standards, conjunct tourism and further combined concerns. Along with this,
international tourism agencies are also liable to prepare tour programmes and analyse numbers of
tourists in a year. In tourism planning the role of junior consultant is to develop advertising and

 In Qatar, interactive planning assists in increasing interaction between stakeholders; it
results provide an opportunity to recognise the entire tourism concepts, as well as goals
and objectives of tourism.
 It will predict the future of the nation in terms of economic and sustainable development
that is really necessary to accomplish long and short term wins of the country.

information regrading available, optimisation and lack of resources for sustainable

norms of the nation in optimistic and adverse manner. For this purpose, Junior consultant are

4.1 Methods of resolving a conflict of interests to ensure the future well being of a developing
tourism destination
Conflict of interest states those disputes or conflicts which might be happened cause of
diverse interest of two parties. Along with this, conflicts can also arises due to involvement of
numerous stakeholders. As far as tourism industry also comprises with many stakeholders, i.e.
government of Qatar has an interest in economic growth from tourism industries, whereas
while tour operators are involved in such practises for getting business growth. If Qatar is
engaged of various conflicts this may affect the national income because tourists will not
prefer to go such locations. While the cultural image of a country also get suffered cause of
these disputes. On the other hand, certain major conflicts that can be occurred cause of cultural
diversity traveller and local community. Social group of Qatar is following Muslim religion
while visitors come from foreign countries and belongs to other different religions as well.
Thus, gaps among cultural values and norms creates complex situation.
In order to resolve these kind of conflicts junior consultant of tourism agencies should
acquire a formal process for resolving such conflicts. Involvement of third party will contribute
to make effective communication among visitors and localised communities and cater relevant

supply of tourism activities across the world. In this over dynamic environment, certain
elements directly hinder the demand and supply administration process, such as – pressure level
on exhaustible resources and imposition of limits. Thus, it is required for junior consultant
needs to make a suitable estimation of demand and then develop planning strategies accordingly
so as to cope equality between demand and supply. By considering such components preparing

Enclave tourism is a tourism in that most of tourist destinations are enclosed and then
several leisure tourism activities are organised that such enclosed areas. In this, visitors are not
permitted to go out in remote areas but they can get experience of of tourist attractions at the
enclosed area. Along with this, enclave tourism includes islands, ships or resorts. In other
words, it means to customized tourism in which visitors will enjoy all leisure activities and get
what they want but at a specific place only.
 Several moral and ethical issues of enclave tourism are - financial security, problems
associated with the health and safety, lack of transportation, physical safety of visitors,
emotional issues, stress, inappropriate services etc. Although, Qatar is a developing

nation but there are certain services or areas that are not developed yet.
 Local community of Qatar is not benefited because enclave areas are found restricted
and there is lack of interaction among local people and tourists.
 Enclave tourism also hinders heritage and cultural aspects of Qatar that is one of the
major tourism attraction at there. It is viewed that mostly youngsters ain't prefer to visit
such places.

emerging destination
At present time, it can be analysed that there are number of problems or issues that are
directly related with tourism development. Here are some comparison between Mauritius and
Qatar that will support in understanding better about several issues. Both countries belongs from
different continents so they follow their own culture, religion, languages and many more. Some
problems can be affected on the travel and tourism sector (Lee, 2013). There are various
differences between both countries which are categories in an effective manner for better
understanding such as;

and tourism sector which facilitate to increase income of both countries as well as goodwill. It
consist to focus on development of tourist destinations for improving their effectiveness which
helps to attract more tourists for visiting.
Recommendations for future development of Qatar
Unique branding – It has been recommended that government of Qatar should focus on
unique position of this destination through implementing certain changes in order to attract more
tourists. It includes to take certain aspects into considerations such as sky scrapers, shopping
malls, spas, resorts and real estate projects which are much efficient to satisfy tourists along with
encouraging then to come again. However, it is also essential for Qatar to utilise unique selling

prepositions including certain factors like safety, economic growth, friendly populace and Arabic
heritage.
Cultural Tourism Assets – It has been suggested that government and tourism authorities
of Qatar should focus on its cultural assets which are helpful to satisfy customer effectively. It
consist the expectations of tourists regarding hospitable & welcoming society, authentic
traditional visitor experiences, world class museums, galleries & public art installations, historic
and heritage attractions.
Recommendations for future development of Mauritius
Maintain natural beauty – The Mauritius can be described as an attractive tourist place
due to richness of lust forest, wild waterfalls, unique wildlife, rocky mountains, white sand
beaches and breathtaking crystal clear turquoise lagoons. However, it has been recommended
that these components of nature should be concentrated by tourism authority in order to
maintain their beauty and cleanliness for developing Mauritius tourism in order attract more
customers
Improve availability of hotels – The natural beauty of Mauritius is responsible for
making it a dream holiday destination for people at global level. It is suggested that government
should develop hotel industry and increase relevant services at reasonable rates to encourage
people for visiting Mauritius from all over the world.
CONCLUSION
From the above based report, it can be concluded that there are different kinds of issues
rising in Qatar that is restricting it to reach its aim of sustainable tourism development. Some of
the problems are excessive use of natural resources, wastage of fossil fuels, pollution, etc.
Government of Qatar needs to focus on making impressive plan of action so that these problems
could be eliminated effectively and easily in specific period of time. In order to improve the
situation of environment, economy and society so as to attain sustainability, optimum utilisation
of natural as well as non – natural commodities should be done. In addition to this, engagement
of various stakeholders is also necessary for the same.
