Introduction
Sustainable development is all about maintaining quality which in turn is beneficial for the
tourists as well as the tourist destination. It leads to the improved quality of services to the
tourists by improving the life of the people of the tourist destination. Therefore, every tourism
destination should aim to achieve sustainable tourism. The following assignment is based on
the sustainable tourism development of Qatar. The assignment has discussed the various
issues as well the significance of the planning in the tourism development process. The
various approaches to tourism development and planning have also been discussed in the
following assignment. We have also chosen two destinations as emerging and developing and
have provided recommendations for their future tourism development.

tourism. Therefore, those who have

tourism in the form of income tax.
