The sustainability of the country consists of three pillars social, economical and environmental which are also known as people, profits and planet. It has been observed that since the past the country's economic growth is only done by the selling of crude oil. Oil has made the country to arrive in the list of countries causing large environmental damages.Qatarhasadoptedavarietyofsustainablemeasuresinordertotacklethese environmental changes and make the country more environmental friendly along with the increase in its tourism.

DIFFERENT STAGES OF SUSTAINABLE TOURISM PLANNINGINQATAR Better planning requires a number of stages to ensure that it is going on properly and as needed. Below explained are the stages required for sustainable tourism planning in Qatar. 1.Preparation -In preparation stage, a team gets selected in order to conducttheresearch,properguidelinesareformulated,alsothe formation of committees to organise and control activities during the study preparation is done. 2.Setting Goals-In this stage, the required goals are set in order to take the required developments further as per the needs and requirements. 3.Examination of all elements –After setting goals, all the elements are examined and the ones which needed improvements are taken into consideration. 4.Analysis and Synthesis –After the examination, the analysis and synthesis of the set and improved goals is done.

As per the adopted estimates for the alternatives that are being offered the best policy gets selected. 6.Formulation of Recommendations -After the overall analysis, synthesis and evaluation of the elements. The recommendations and conclusions are adopted. 7.Implementation and monitoring application -This is the last stage of planning where the implementation of the activities is done by the planners. Also, they monitor the application and implementations as per their requirements.
