 Sustainable tourism refers to concept of visiting any where as visitors
and also trying to develop the positive affect on environment, economy
and society.
 In this, tourism can be include the primary transportation to general
location, accommodations, recreation, shopping etc.
 Travel and tourism is a larger sector that contribute towards economy
of country.

 In travel and tourism,
sustainability is defined as
development process that
focus on social, environmental
and also economic
development of industry,
region and firm.

Importance of sustainability
 Improve social performance- Under this, sustainability is helpful in
make improvement in social performance of Qatar country.
 Improving environment dimension- The main focus of this dimension
on proper utilization of the natural resources in a better manner.
 Improve Economic factors- Under this, main focus of this
development is on make improvement in various factors for an instance
employment, taxes, income level and many others.

Factors that may prevent/hinder sustainable
tourism
 Sustainable tourism development signifies social, environmental and
economic aspects that will save firm cost which are operating in travel
and tourism sector.
 Provide the advantages to communities as well as some other
stakeholders through protecting environment, tourism policies, climate
changes, education level etc.
 Sustainable tourism development is helpful in using resources in an
effective manner.

respective agency of travelling.

Conclusion
 It has been concluded from the above mention report that sustainable
tourism is helpful in develop the tourism and its main focus on social,
economic and environmental development of destination places in
Qatar.
 There has been discussion about the different stakeholders included in
business of tourism such as tourists, government, business organisation
etc.
