INTRODUCTION The travel destinations around the world which shows the culture and heritage of a particular place of a country is known as tourism environment. It also includes the flora and fauna of that specific place, for example- various species of plants and animals which constitutes major attractions of that place. The tourism industry contributes in the economy of a country to a great extent. It helps in collection of revenues thorough the travelling business in which people from different countries visit the number of famous destinations such as, Dubai, London, New York, Las Vegas, Paris, Italy, Switzerland, Greece and many more. This also provides both pleasure and leisure to the travellers far from home(Yang and Weng, 2019). The following essay will talk about the concept of sustainable tourism along with its principles that re required for the development and growth of the tourism sector. Further, the essay will also discuss about the macro factors that are responsible for the growth of the tourism industry sustainably. It is important to concentrate on the development of the various tourists spots or the destinations. It also covers the impact of the components of the micro environment and the tourists on the particular sector which is directly associated with the demand of the different goods and services. There are some principles in order to achieve the aim of sustainable tourism and that are required to be followed accordingly by the host country in order to develop tourism industry(Konovalova, et.al, 2018). The postulates or the fundamental approaches are the musts in terms of maintaining the vitality for the development of sustainable tourism. The basic approach which this concept is trying to give is to utilize the resources according to the need of the hour which means, that on the basis of
reliability. There should be proper use of resources which also concentrates on the preservation of the natural resources in order to use it for the long term basis. In furtherance to the above explanation, another principle is decreasing the rate of over consumptionand waste management which is accountable for the adverse effects on the environment. This could also leads to the long term environmental harm. The maintenance of a required balance among the environment and tourism helps to boost the natural, social and cultural variedness which is essential for a long term sustainability of tourism that will render a clearplatformfortourismsector.Thoroughthisapproach,biodiversitywillalsoget preserved(Ozdemir, 2021). In order to develop the sustainability of USA, it requires to include the aspect of tourism while making a domestic or national plan in terms of making a strategic structure. It also takes into account the evaluation of the environmental influence that helps in increasing long term vitality of tourism. The other principle which holds an important position in maintaining the sustainability in tourism is promoting the interest of the economy of the country while undertaking the environment costs. This would assist in protecting the environment and local economies from any sort of danger or harm. The inclusion of locals of the societies and communities in tourism industry will be beneficial for the community as well as for the environment. It is crucial for the public to understand the necessity of sustainable tourism which could be attained through proper regularization of these principles. Another important aspect in this particular concept is the interaction between the general public and stakeholders. As it is a well known terminology that in order to achieve a common goal, it is essential to work with the cooperation by resolving all the disputes with consultation and discussions. The macro environment factor includes various macro elements, that is, socio-cultural conditions,politicalaspects,technological,physical,economicalanddemographicor geographical aspects. In order to develop tourism industry in any country, political support is very important regarding maintaing the sustainability of tourism industry(Wei,Wang and Liu, 2021). And the political viability of USA is particularly strong enough if compared with any other country. It holds vitality in itself which helps it to become more stable and balanced. In financial terms, USA is powerful to handle the odd situations very easily. So, before analysing that whether a country can achieve sustainability in terms of tourism or not, it is important to know about its financial condition. The reason behind this analysis is that, the required steps will be taken in terms of that country after evaluating its financial position to attain the necessary objective that is stability in tourism. From social aspect, it is important to keep a check on the emerging trends of tourism sector. This would help in considering the views of the people of every age group. Today, it could be seen that there are various technological advancements that are being observed all around the world which influence each and every sector of business including tourism that too is categorized as a business. Now, it is required to observe the fact that whether USA can handle the changes that are being observed by environment or not due to the changes in technology(Churchill, et.al, 2022). The cultureand tradition which is being followed in any country from the time immemorial is one of the most important aspect of its development in tourism sector. As cultural diversification of USA provides an affirmative assumption which ultimately helps in the growth of a sustainable tourism sector. From the environmental point of view, it is being understood that USA is a country that adhere with the necessary rules and regulations . They are, marketmediators,marketunions,competitors,suppliers,customers,localcommunity, employees, etc. It also contains various tourism goods and services like,tourists information agencies, restaurants, shopping malls, guides, tour operators, travel agents, transportation, accommodations, etc. All these factors are equally responsible for the growth of the tourism sector(Pencarelli,2020). Different consumers posses different tastes which is needed to be considered accordingly. In order to beat the competitors, it is important to generate new ideas and thoughts which helps in meeting the demand of the customers. Further, it is essential to maintain a healthy relationship with the suppliers of the tourists goods so that there would be no discrepancy faced by the country in developing the tourism sustainably. This would ensure the availability of required products on specified time(Ooi, Duke and O'Leary, 2018). Not only macro environmental factors but micro environmental factors are also essential for the overall development of tourism sector of the country. Tourism sector plays a key role in generating the profitability of the country. It helps in fostering economic as well as the financial growth of a country. CONCLUSION The conclusion drawn from the above essay is that the development and growth of any country is based on various sector of businesses which also incudes tourism industry to an extent. The concept of sustainable tourism is essential for the further growth of any country. It could be achieved by following various principles of sustainable tourism development. It also discusses about the different macro and micro environmental factors which also helps in integration of sustainability in tourism industry. In order to ensure effective decision making in terms of stability in tourism sector, stakeholders play a significant role by taking appropriate decisions according to the recent technological changes and changing preferences of the customers. So, there is a need to prepare a proper action plan for accomplishing the above objectives.
