In orderto draw the attention of people from various geographical backgrounds and attitudes tourism isone of the most effective business industries. Especially in order to bring an economic strength indeveloping country such as Nepal, the development of tourism business implies the mostsignificance. Tourism industry is primarily considered as labor-intensive sector where largenumbers of small and medium enterprises are there. Nepal is primarily considered among poorestcountries. Inhabitants of this very specific country do not have sufficient economic strength forinvesting huge amount of money before forming a business. Tourism is the sector where theinhabitants can get the scope of earning money by showing handicrafts (Kim, Ritchie &McCormick, 2012). Visitors in quest of restoring the cultures and beliefs of a specific countrytend to purchase those handcrafts with great zeal. However, it is a source of income fornumerous people belonging to Nepal. Goal 2: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainableagriculture As per Nepal’s business scenario given in the case study, it has been observed that thenumber of industries in this very specific country is low due to economic and technologicalbarriers. As per the case scenario, the scenic beauty of Nepal is marvelous based on which amplenumber of visitors tends to visit this country for enjoying its natural beauty. Therefore, Nepalgovernment in quest of developing tourism business can take effective initiatives. The local

As a result, people suffering fromextreme hunger and poverty would become get a stability (Látková & Vogt, 2012). The residentswould not have to starve for securing their foods and place. Development of business in tourismsector is one of the most effective ways to overcome this kind of situation. Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls Tourism business sector is one of the most effective business sectors for maintaining anti-discrimination and gender equality. In order to draw the attention of visitors’ women can play amajor role. Among most of the travel operators, more than fifty percent employees are male.This kind of discrimination should be avoided in hotels and hospitality sector so that femalevisitors do not feel hesitated in visiting the places. On the other hand, it is observed from the casescenario that female inhabitants of Nepal are very talented in showing their handcrafts.Therefore, they have every right to show their talents by going out of the curtains (Buckley,2012). However, large numbers of hotels are there, where women are appointed as a receptionistdue to the flow of communication skill and way of approach. However, the women areappointed as a guide for directing the visitors towards right path. Therefore, tourism sector isdefinitely considered as one of the most effective tools for rendering gender equality and anti-discrimination. Goal 8: Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all After the emergence of tourism development, large number of hotels and travel operatorshas already expanded their widespread wings.
