INTRODUCTION Sustainable tourism is defined as an industry which is committed to make an impact onenvironment and culture of a region or country. It is considered as a bridge between all theaspects of tourism which helps the country in conserving biodiversity. The regionaldiversifications can be developed by the way of effective and efficient development ossustainable resources. Sustainable tourism is economically, environmentally sustainable in theway that all economies are developed in generating employment opportunities. The impacts thatcaters to tourism sustainability are not permanent but can be changed according to the changes inpolitical scenario of the economy. This report explains about the sustainable tourism, its planningprocess and all the stakeholders that are being benefited by the planning process of public andprivate sector partnerships.TASK1P1.1 Benefit of Stakeholders in planning There are various planning processes that can be beneficial for stakeholders in order toanalyse tourist destination. The tourist will be benefited by the planning and development in thetouring spot because the tourist will get to know about new and new locations and destinationsthat will be beneficial for gathering of more number of tourist. This will help in developingeconomies of scale. By doing this government will be benefited in the way foreign exchange willenter economy that will be used for developing the sector. People will also be developed on thepath of employment providence to them. Business as well as personal opportunities are morewhich will help people in generating better standard of living and they will earn more livelihoodfor themselves. Another benefit is the benefit of companies. Employment opportunities willdevelop job in the national regions. This will be beneficial for economic development as grossdomestic product will increase and the people will have the option to buy variety of products andservices. These benefits are a boom for economy because if these are generated the benefit ofproviding grants to other nations can be generated.P1.2 Advantages and Disadvantages of Public- Private sector Partnership Every economy which is growing and developing the business will have the mixture of both thesectors that are working together in achieving the success of the nation. Even private sectorsometimes is dependent on public sector for providing monetary benefits to run and develop1

business organizations. As far as London is considered the major advantage of implementing thefunds of the Govt. to develop services which will generate more and more number of tourist.Also, the facilities provided by the private sector will be governed by the public sector and theeconomy can be benefited to a large extent. One of biggest disadvantage of this partnership isthat the public sector wants to develops per the necessities of consumers but private sector wantsto develop it through innovation and development. This will be a negative point in terms ofgetting more consumers and the economy can be affected by loss of tourism in the country.Another major disadvantage is the political disturbance of ruling and opposition party. This isbecause the ruling party who wants to develop certain innovations in the country will be attackedpolitically by the opposition party in terms of non-development of certain areas which needs tobe changed according to certain standards of living by the people.TASK2 P2.1 Key steps of Tourism Development and the features used at different levels There are various competitors in the world who are constantly competing for developingand generating tourism in the nation. These competitors are beneficial for consumers becauseconsumers get the best deal available at low or nominal price. There are various steps that areessential for Tourism developmentsMain step is to identify the pattern of the industry and then understanding all the expectations ofthe people.a)Companies have to allocate their resources and then deliver the right offers to rightconsumers.b)All firms need to analyse that the offers delivered are rightly used by consumers as pertheir requirements.Proper feedback to be received as per the information of generating correct offers/ deals to theconsumers.Govt. will have to provide all the authorities that will divide the work into national and localdivisions. These authorities will take care of the funds being developed and generated and at thesame time they can analyse the level of rightly used available resources which are used in theeconomy.2
