The essay will evaluate SWOT analysis for area of analysis and development with help of
Personal Development Plan and in this manner, ways through which how to make career in
becoming a motivational speaker will be also known by improvement in some skills and abilities
through effective and efficient manner.

Discussion on SWOT analysis of the items and the area of analysis and development
The career chosen by me is being a Motivational Speaker. There are various skills and
abilities which a motivational speaker imbibes (GURL, 2017). The major thing which is being
analyzed and evaluated is that being a motivational speaker, I will need many skills and abilities
to be improved which will be covered under my weaknesses. There are also many strengths and
opportunities which will help me in my career development through which I will be able to learn
many new things that will help me grow in my career and will be able to develop the skills and
abilities which will be required to me.
There are various skills and abilities which I imbibe are storytelling, adaptability, passion,
engaging presentation. These are the skills which I have and more than that I need to learn and
improve my various other skills and abilities so that I deliver effective and significant
performance to individuals and this will also help me building my career. These above
mentioned abilities and skills are my strengths which help me in taking my career at peak and
reach the scale of achieving all the success by becoming a motivational speaker.
Apart from this there are various aspects and factors of weaknesses which I imbibe and want
to improve. My weaknesses are - Lack of leadership skills, less communicative skills, lack of
confidence and lack of control. These are the four major weaknesses which I imbibe and I want
to improve these skills and abilities so that I can develop my career effectively and efficiently. I
need to improve my skills and abilities and for this SWOT Analysis is being done which is
explained as below –
Strengths – Strengths helps me in identifying what are the skills and abilities which helps me
growing more and developing more in my career at large scale. The skills which I imbibe for
becoming a motivational speaker are adaptability, engaging presentation, passion, storytelling

etc. These skills are the strengths which will help me in developing my career and make me
become a motivational speaker (Vlados, 2019).
Weaknesses – There are some of the major weaknesses which help me in knowing that there are
certain skills and abilities which I need to improve and pay attention to. Through this process, I
will be able to achieve the major aspects through which all the perspectives of I becoming a
motivational speaker is known. I lack confidence, there is lack of leadership skills in me, I am
least communicative and also I lack control. These weaknesses are to be improved and known
for the better future and for making career by becoming motivational speaker on large platforms
(Hazzan and et.al., 2017).
Opportunities – There are various opportunities which are made available for me and through
which I will be able to make decisions through which the growth and development in my career
will take place and my future will be safe and secure. There are various opportunities in the
external environment which will help me in knowing the major and basic forms through which I
can develop my skills and abilities and help myself in becoming and effective motivational
speaker.
Threats – There can be threat while developing this career as there are many competitors in the
external business environment which may affect my growth and development in coming into the
field of becoming a motivational speaker (Puyt and et.al., 2020).
For improving the weaknesses Personal Development Plan is implemented and this will
help in knowing the basis through which weaknesses can be improved at large scale. The

and develop the skills and abilities which are prior needed for knowing and acknowledge the
career aspects. By improvement in the weaknesses I will be able to take initiative towards
making changes and developing the skills and abilities for my career. By becoming the
motivational speaker, I will be taking concern of how my weaknesses are improved and through
this I will be able to analyze my current position and perspectives helping me in knowing my
aspects of improvement of how things are taken into concern. By becoming the motivational
speaker I will also be able to increase my strengths and gain opportunities which are available to

which will help me in my career and will make me become a good motivational speaker.
Through this analysis and with help of overcoming and improving my weaknesses I will be able
to make the changes in my personal life and my professional life. Apart from this, being a
motivational speaker will help me in improving my communication skills and abilities so that I
become a good motivational speaker and is able to make the stage performances effective and
significant. The main reason for being motivational speaker is that I have skills and abilities
which align perfectly into what I have to become and with the help of these abilities and skills I

Therefore, the main aspect which is being analysed and evaluated in the perspective of
knowing that being a motivational speaker will create a big career opportunity for me and along
with that there will also be personal growth and development which will help in knowing that
this is the basis through which all the aspects of becoming a motivational speaker create value in
the personal as well as professional career development. With the help of Personal Development
Plan many things will be known which will help me in analysing the basis of how much time the

with this, resources and strategies which will be required are also known at large scale. The long
and short term goals helped in knowing the ways through which the skills and abilities will be
improved. Choosing the career of becoming motivational speaker will also help me in
communicating with the people into different fields and from them I will also learn many things

motivational speaker will be known at large scale. There will be many opportunities which will
be made available to me in the external communicative environment.
The key aspect of preparing the Personal Development Plan was that to help in improving
the scale of how the skills and abilities are converted into positive aspects and through that the
strengths are also known which helps in acknowledging basis through which everything is being

and personal growth. This is main reason which is being analyzed in becoming motivational

It will also crucially focus diverse new expertise worked on, by delivering positive aptitude and
also determining potential work synergies rapidly. Study will also advance up varied working
needs towards new skills, higher competencies and develop effective learnings among varied
subjects.
Reflecting on the progress made and update on SWOT Analysis
Meaning of reflective learning: The meaning of reflective learning, can be understood to be
highly essential for developing critical rise on self learning habits for professional expertise
diversification innovatively. By using reflective learning for analysis new horizons are explored
significantly and also development of new determinants needs are evolved dynamically. This
further determines competent rise on significant working abilities, and evolved rise towards
expertise functional new creativities to be potently worked on.

I progressed in my development and growth of the skills and abilities which helped me in
knowing the weaknesses and how to improve them. This was done by framing of the Personal
Development Plan in which I realized that how my weaknesses were improved (Developing a

time which helped in analyzing the strategies and resources which were being required for
achieving long and short term goals being made. The kolb reflective analysis cycle, has been
used for gaining in depth knowledge regarding latest new skills professionally and developing
active new learnings. Concrete experience: I have improved my communication skills, confidence, controlling
and leadership skills. I have observed changes in myself through which I am confident
now to change the ways and patterns of how effective and efficient my skills and abilities
have been developed. I also have observed improvement in my career and personal life
growth that I have incurred such changes at large scale. Through this progress, I am able
to make further changes which have helped me in knowing basis through which I have
gained confidence in performing in my desired career and through this I am also able to
initiate progressive patterns which are helping me in knowing the necessary initiatives
which I took in improving my skills and abilities. At this stage I further aimed to use new
knowledge related expertise for upgrading my performance within projects, and generate
optimum vision significantly. Reflective observation : have improved my leadership skills which have helped in taking
along many people all at once and this has also made me feel confident as my career is
into being a motivational speaker and delivering speeches on large platforms. With the
help of the SWOT Analysis, it became very easy and efficient process for me to known
my strengths and weaknesses which helped me in knowing my strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities and threats which I incur. The main thing which was being observed
through SWOT Analysis was that I was able to identify my core skills and abilities
through which I was able to choose my career which was becoming a motivational
speaker. By reflecting on observations, I have worked on my own skills and strengths
actively which will critically make me more confident dynamically. Abstract conceptualization: SWOT analysis also helped me in knowing that there are
various opportunities in my career which may help me in knowing the basis through

which I can apply to the chances which I achieve from external business environment.
The major changes which were being observed were when I framed PDP for my
improvement in some skills and abilities at large scale. This initiated the steps of how
growth and development in personal and professional career can be made (Personal

to further practice new potent working needs significantly and improvise findings for my
future projects, which will make me more confident.
 Active experimentation : I gained confidence and improved my leadership and
communication skills through which all aspects of knowing the scale of improving and
enhancing the ways were being evaluated and known at large scale. My lack in some
skills and abilities helped me in analyzing to improve them and significantly reach my
career goal which is to become a motivational speaker. Thus, this is the progress which I
made for my development in career and skills. This also initiated the confidence in me
that I can develop and make changes in my career through some skills and abilities which
are to be framed and then following those for time scale so that they are effectively
accomplished. By attending seminars and group sessions, I will be further able to
enhance m overall skills rise which will further develop crucial potentialities
significantly.


CONCLUSION
The analysis on self learning assessment has evolved significant focus on improvised new
professional learning where my progression has been dynamically evolved. Also, by using Kobe
reflective model, the various stages have enabled me to gain productive learning varietal, and
advance up working procedures for keen understanding.
