“Psychological Learning and teaching employ the concept social cognitive theory”
This statement is supported by the three readings provided in the reference list. The first
reading supporting this was written by Ambrose and other authors in the year 2010 titled “how
learning works”. The other reading supporting this statement is the article by Denler and other
authors on a social cognitive theory published in 2010 and the last reading is an article by Smith
on the theory heard around the world published in the year 2002.
According to Smith (2002), entertainment education is supported by social cognitive
theory. This reading supports the fact that people learn from social cognitive models on
behaviors wished to emulate. This similar idea is addressed by article by Denler on social
cognitive. The article states that social cognitive behavior is a kind of psychological model
applied in studies based on the behavior of the learners. It motivates the learners and promotes
changes and adjustment of behavior in learning. Moreover, the same idea is analyzed in the
article by Ambrose and other authors recognized cognitive psychology as a theoretical principle
used to help the instructors improve their modes of teaching (Ambrose, Bridges, DiPietro, Lovett
& Norman, 2010). This resource is related to the other two resources because it supports the idea
that learners applied different metacognitive processes for controlling and monitoring their
learning activities. The article by Ambrose and other authors support the fact that social
cognitive theory is two way kind of symbiosis benefits of teachers and learners.
Reflecting on an article by Denver, a similar idea in the statement is supported by the
fact that according to social cognitive learning, learning should occur through the observation
approach of social context. The reading supports the statement by stating that particular
behaviors are supported by the self-efficacy based on the belief of an individual on the success of
a task or set goal. According to this reading by Denler and other authors, setting the goals in
