In the reception subtask, the actors who is involved is the receptionist. The receptionist has many work that includes getting an appointment for the patient, collecting the information for the patient over the phone or at the time of admission. At the time of admitting a patient, the receptionist allots a bed for the patient and record the details of the patients. Files medical insurance and provides receipts for the patient.

4SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGN Another use case is the treatment use case. In this the doctors and the nurses are the actors who are involved. They perform many activities in the system for treatment of the patient. The nurses first checks the information of the patient details their medical record to the doctors. The nurses also provides medicine to the patients as prescribed by the doctors. At the time of problem faced by the patient, the nurses consults a doctor. The work of a doctor in the hospital system is to check the health of the patient and prescribe them accordingly. They checks the test reports of the patients and prescribes for other tests. The doctor also releases the patient from the hospital when the patient does not need to be in care of the hospital. All these activities are performed in the use case of the hospital management system. 2.3Use Case Diagram The below use case diagram shows the working process of hospital management system. There are many actors who are involved in the hospital management system. The use case diagram shows there actors involved in the casewho are receptionist, nurses and doctors. All actors performs their own activities in the hospital management system. The receptionist has the activity to collect information about the project, allots a bed for the patient, details the record of patients in the database of the system, gives receipt to the patients and if the patients has medical insurance, the receptionist files the medical insurance.
