Stakeholder Analysis
In this section, it mainly discussed about the stakeholder analysis of the project ‘My Health
Record’. There are four types of stakeholders associated in this project depending on the strength
and association which includes Internal-Operation, Internal-Executive, External-Operation and
External-Executive.

Stakeholder Description
All stakeholders related in this project ‘My Health Record’ are listed and described in the below
mentioned table:
Stakeholder Description
Hospital Owners All the trustees and hospital owner is the primary stakeholder who works
to arrange funding of the hospitals and also funds themselves. They also
maintained other related activities for the improved infrastructure
construction and the arrangement of better facilities required for medical
emergency patients. Hence, as they are directly related to operational
work of hospital so they are considered as an external stakeholder for this
project.
Board Of Directors In this project, Board of Directors are also considered as external
stakeholder as they are also not directly inter-related with the daily
operations of hospital. They are only become functional to take any
important decisions for the betterment of organization.
Medical Director (MD) MDs follow all rules and regulations pre-determined by the owners and
directors in all operational activities and various hospital related
concerns. In case of medical needs, MDs do contact with the specialized
doctors to discuss patient’s details and conclude about the best treatment
needed in that emergency situation.
System Administrator The system administrator acts as internal stakeholder of this ‘My Health
Record’ project.
Patients The patient in this Health Record system is directly related and also
considered as primary stakeholder. However, they also considered as an

external-executive in the implementation work of project.
Government The Government also plays vital role in this project by providing all
necessary funds and arranging proper infrastructure of this new
implemented system so that it helps the Australian people for getting
better medical facilities and amenities.
Doctors Doctors have the accessibility in all types of operation related functions,
patients related functions, infrastructure related functions and also along
with managerial activities of ‘My Health Record’ project. They are also
categorized in the internal stakeholder portion of this project.
Nurses Nurses are considered as an internal operational stakeholder in this
project. Along with doctors, they are also directly related with patients
and other stakeholders due to whom they have all information and also
assist the patients for their enhanced treatment. They also help the
patients with assistance of this newly implemented system. Therefore,
nurses are considered as internal-executive for the development of this
project.
Staffs Staffs are also directly related with this newly implemented ‘My Health
Record’ project. They also do the whole database management for all
patients and doctors with all types of details regarding health issues and
specialization. Based on characteristics, they are categorized as internal-
operations stakeholder in this ‘My Health Record’ project work.

Set of Questionnaire
In this part, there are 10 questionnaires that are done for the patients to know about this new
implemented Health record system. These questionnaires help to get the feedback of this
implemented system and also give the proper idea of what modifications are needed to be done
in this system. All these 10 questions related to this ‘My Health Record’ project are mentioned
below:
The questionnaire is designed for Admin.
Question 1: Do you need the system to give the specialist authority to erase client?
Question 2: Why you think the manual verification of user is needed?
Question 3: What is your view on this health care system?
Question 4: On what basis, you want the system to function?
Question 5:Is the system require to create notification option or automated mail facility?
Question 6:Are you want to monitoring all data processing?
Question 7: what is your opinion about sharing access of controlling data or server with all end
users except patients?
Question 8:Is the virtual firewall needed to be customized, what is your opinion?
Question 9:From where you will prefer to access, remote or being online?
Question 10:Is it require the system to produce or create report?

information info and handling of
this information. It will expand

test reports, treatment bills etc
Patient Health Record Staffs All associated users like
patients, doctors have the access
of their health record database.
Therefore, the database always
needed to be updated for getting
better treatment from the
doctors.
Log In Patients This system will allow both the
doctors and patients to login into
the system. Therefore, for doctor
after login they can set their
visiting hours for patients and
for patients, they can access
doctor’s visiting hours and
based on that booking can be
done.

Scenario In this case, both the doctors and patients can get the access to do
chat with each other. However, before doing chat, the patients
need to do check-up with this particular doctor and all patients
files required to be shared on this My Health Record system.

Description The patients get the facility to do chat with both specialist and
doctors. Before doing chat, doctors needed to check concerned
patients case files so that they can suggest better treatment.
