It is a face to face interpersonal role situation in which theinterviewer ask a person being interviewed questions designed to gather information about aproblem area. In thus method the interviewer should read the background material carefullybefore they decide on the structure of the interview. They should also write the review of theinterview as soon as possible.Questionnaires: It is one of the very efficient technique of gathering information and feedbackfor a system. Questionnaires is a process of collecting information from large number of persons.It is a self-administered tools. Questionnaires are frequently used in quantitative marketingresearch and social research. These method can be used efficiently along with the interviews.The designer of the questionnaire should be able to provide the individual with an ample scope toprovide the answers of the questions. This would provide better results. Advantage and Disadvantage of InterviewsThe advantage of the interviews is that it provides an easy way to communicate so thatthe mistakes can clarified efficiently. It also helps in building up a relationship in between theinterviewer and the interviewee. The process also helps in obtaining sufficient data for therequired process. It also helps in the collection of primary data for the research process. Theprocess is also the cheapest form of information gathering process.

2SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGNAlong with the advantages the method also has some disadvantages such as the method isan incomplete process. There are no record of the process unless the interviewer records the datain some sort of media or hardware devices. It is very time consuming and the data recordingprocess might also be affected by the biasness of the interviwer.Advantage and Disadvantage of QuestionnaireThe main advantage of the questionnaire method is that the method can be used to reachout to a large number of candidates and also the method is very easy for obtaining quantifiableanswers to the topic of research. Additionally the answers are very easy for the analysis methods. Additionally, it has also been noted that, it is not the best method to gather theinformation required for the problems. Additionally, it is very difficult for the designer to designan efficient questionnaire so that the sequence is maintained.
