The Scene Brokers
1. Introduction
The Scene Brokers is an organization which is looking to deploy a website for managing its
current business operations and achieving better customer engagement levels. The report
focuses on three relevant areas as use case modelling & information gathering techniques,
benefits of mobile application to the organization, and work breakdown structure for the
project.
2. Information Gathering Techniques
Use Case Diagram is a behaviour diagram that provides the details of the system and its
requirements. There are varied sets of data that are required for the development of adequate
use case diagram and for effective use case modelling. The primary technique that will be
used for gathering the information sets will be interviews. The interviews will be conducted
with the employees of the company, end-users of the system, and the organization
stakeholders. The detailed expectations of each of these entities will be achieved through the
interview processes. The automated tools will then be applied to analyse the response. Group
discussions among these entities and groups will also be arranged for the purpose of
information collection (Misbhauddin and Alshayeb, 2013). The exploration of new ideas will
be done as a result. Observation is another technique that will be given shape for data
gathering. The existing system will be observed and analysed in terms of its issues, gaps, and
areas of improvement. The system behaviour will be determined accordingly and the same
will be modelled in the use case diagram.

responsive web design methodology. The methodology will allow the application to react and
respond as per the user options. The use of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) principles
will enable the application to be personalized in terms of color tone, application theme, and
likewise (Morris et al., 2016).
5.4. Ease of Usage
There will be segmented customer profiles that the organization will be able to look at after
the deployment of the mobile application. The real-time data handling and analytics will also
ensure that the customers are provided with the services as per the preferences and choices.
The application will have the necessary features highlighted and the visual appeal will be
developed in such a manner that the users are able to understand the flow of the applications

security, and usability that will be necessary to be adhered to so that the application benefits
are gained.
6. Work Breakdown Structure
The methodology that is recommended for the mobile application for The Scene Brokers is
Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK). It is a project management methodology
that is defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI). The methodology provides the
management guidelines in five process groups and the same will be followed in the project.
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is a graphical representation of the project activities in a
hierarchical manner (Fanning, 2014). The process groups involved in the mobile application
development project are shown in the image above. It will start with the initiation phase in
which the application feasibility determination and chartering will be done. The planning of
the project will be done in the next process group. It will be one of the most significant stages
of the project as the base of the project will be set in this phase. The schedule for the
conduction of the mobile application development will be decided in this phase along with
the costing. The other project areas will be planned out in this stage. The practical execution

and implementation will be done in the third and fourth process groups with the conduction
of the activities as application design, source code development, application testing, and its
implementation (Jamali and Oveisi, 2016). The last phase in the project will be the final
evaluation and closure. The use of these phases and stages will ensure that there are
