Considering this aspect it has been noticed that there is a significant impact of data collection procedures as this will help the developer to analyse the gathered information followed by which the developer can design the features of the approached system (Caldeira et al. 2019). Hence, followed by the above identified aspect a detail elaboration on the fact finding methods of information gathering is mentioned below:-
5System Design and Analytics Interview- Followed by the above mentioned aspects it has been noticed that in order to gather theinformationrelatedtotheimplementationoftheapproachedinformationsystem, conduction of interview is one off the most effective as well as frequently used information gathering process (Dingsøyr and Lassenius 2016). The procedure of interview basically consists two significant types which includes the Structure interviews and the unstructured interviews. In the procedure of structured interview selected questions are asked related to the topic (Hoda et al. 2017). However, in the unstructured interview process there are no such selectedquestions, ratherfrequentquestionsareaskedtocollectinformationfrom individuals. Most of the interviews are conduct in a face to face way and during the time of the interview it verifies the facts such as the user interest, enthusiasm and the ideas related to the approached system. Considering the above aspects the advantages and disadvantages of conducting interview for data collection is listed below: Pros- Relatively absence of bias. Enough time to consult with the individual. Cost effective (Kim et al. 2016). Easy implementation. Flexible Questions (Kudaravalli, Faraj and Johnson 2017). Cons- Less privacy of the user identity (Kuhrmann et al. 2017). Less focus on the objective.
6System Design and Analytics Observation- Followed by the above data collection method it has been noticed that observing the organization’s activities can significantly provide effective data which may enhance the development process (Laudon and Laudon 2016). Followed by this aspect it is essential to effectively analyse the current organizational operations and observe the limitations as well as determine the area where most of the focus is needed. Considering the above findings monitoring the activities of the nominated organization also holds significant impact on developing most accurate system for the organization as it will help the investigator to determine the key functional requirement and how the incorporation of the identified functional area will improve the services of the nominated company. Followed by the above mentioned aspect the pros and cons related to this data collection method is mentioned below: Pros- It will help to determine the aspect of real time services. Investigation on previous organizations data will help to identify the impact full area. Helps to get detail idea about the limitations (Wagner and Ruhe 2018). System Development tool: For the development of the system for American Medical Center, the tools that are selected are Github and Codekit. Both are system development tool with the difference of the area they are used for. The first one is used for the development of the software while the second one facilitates the fast development of a website. Talking about Github, the hosting service will let AMC to build the software that are necessary for the development of the software that is required for the handling of the process of the organization. As it is a hosting service, hence for the development, the additional resources that are necessary will be provided by the service provider itself and there will be no necessity for using the in-house resources. It is a reliable source that is a subsidiary of Microsoft and the development will be done without any pre-requisites.
8System Design and Analytics On the other hand, the usage of Codekit will be facilitating the fast construction of websites for the organization. As the system of AMC has gone outdated hence, it is necessary for them to build everything from the scratch, as it will take considerable amount of time to refresh all of the resources available. Besides, websites built in Codekit is able to provide live-refreshing feature of the website. As a medical organization, AMC will be benefitted by this feature as the websites will be loaded with data every minute and hence this feature will make the website to show the live updates that are entered. Software development methodologies For the development of any system, it is necessary to follow a particular methodology to build the software and to test it. The methodology that is considered to build the software is Agile methodology and the testing will be done through the process of prototyping. The agile methodology will make the developers as well as the business people to work together and the development process will continue simultaneously. In this process, the development as well as the updation of the software take place in a continuous manner. Hence, any errors that will take place can be immediately sorted out and can be worked on. The process takes place in sprints and the entire process is divided into a number of stages. After the building of the software, the next stage comes to testing. The testing is the processwheretheentiresoftwareistestedtobeassureofitsfunctionalities. The functionalities are kept under consideration and the entire testing is done to see whether the software serves all of its desired services. Prototyping method is selected for testing of the software. In this process, the early stage of the software is made to go through the process of testing for future approximation of the quality of the software. In this process, any possible reworks that needs to be done in the software comes into existence and the necessary changes are made to the software.
