1. Management Summary
a. Summary of Requirements
Based on the discussed case study about the business of Club IT, it could be confirmed
that the company is a downtown music venue, which is primarily been owned and managed by
Ruben Keys and Lisa Tejada. The owners are responsible for maintaining each of the official
works involved within the company. They also maintain each of the financial and business
records of the organisation (Kwon, Lee & Shin, 2014). Based on their observation over the
business, it has been seen that they major lag behind in the sector of information management
while they mainly focus over the resources that are spent by them. The certain problems that are
faced by the current system is that they are facing problems with keeping a track of their
inventory levels.
Based on the supported discussion, it can be discussed that Club IT would need to highly
focus over the business specific requirements. They would need to install an inventory
management system within their organisation that would be able to track the levels of inventory
and thus also provide recommendations in certain stages during the performing of business
activities (Muller, 2019). The system also includes the use of functional and non-functional
requirements. Based on the use and implementation of the new inventory system, it could be able
to calculate and predict the number of items within the procurement of items. Other non-
functional requirements include the use of key authorization processes that would be needed to
be included within the business.

b. Development to date
Based on the current working progress of the company, it has been seen that there has
been several decisions taken by the company to reengineer their systems at their inventory.
However, they are still in the process of designing the plan for the systems based on listed
requirements under the functional and non-functional requirements.
c. Current Status Report
As per the current status of the report, it can be confirmed that Club IT would be able to
design a process mapping based on the series of events that would take place within the entire
system at the business. After the implementation of the inventory management system at the
business, it has been easy to maintain a proper order over each of the inventory levels, create
sales processing, creation of a work order (Laudon & Laudon, 2016). The tool would also help in
organizing the data of the inventory, plan the billing of various materials and also relate the
production of project documents.
Based on the current status within the organisation, the current process used within the
inventory would also help in the tracking of materials, check the levels of inventory based on
finished products (Bruccoleri, Cannella & La Porta, 2014). With the high level of data produced
by the company, the inventory management system would be able to track the pattern of sales,
turnover of the past sales items and also make other decisions related to the business.
d. Project costs and benefits
The total cost incurred for the project is $124,500. Based on the discussed inventory
management system, there are several benefits that would be incurred within the project. These
are:
