Whether the original post is holistic. Please identify missing components, if any, and
provide constructive feedback.
The response by Dave on system thinking is holistic. I did not find any missing
components while going through the report. However, I would like to mention that system
thinking is like a technique that can help various people and stakeholders to be able to view
systems from broader perspectives (Jagustović et al., 2019). By this, I mean being able to see the
overall patterns, cycles, and structures that a system presents rather than seeing only particular
events in the system.
Have all plausible consequences been identified?
Dave has done a wonderful job in identifying all plausible consequences. For instance,
the primary stakeholders of the bank have been identified as bank customers. Also, the problem
facing the bank has been identified. The customers are demanding lower prices for services
which the bank have not managed to offer so far. Therefore, there is a call for the bank to listen
to its customers’ complaints or they will have to close the bank (consequences) due to lack of
clients.
Have Systems Thinking tools been used and used properly? Please provide a critique of
these tools and their use in solving the problem identified.
Dave has adequately made use of proper system thinking tools. There is the use of Rich
Picture tool to identify the problem that the bank is going through. Rich Picture is a tool a
