INTRODUCTIONSystematic management can also be referred as the approaches used for managementwhich is having their prime focus on the management of the organisation irrespective of the finaloutcome. The aim of these approaches is to create some procedures which are having someprocesses that can be used at the time of doing the task. Smooth and effective communication isvery necessary so that the management can be done in the most effective way. Aramex is aninternational logistic service company. Their supply chain is very vast and huge (Stang and et.al.,2014). The main problem can occur in establishment because of the uncertainty in needs anddemands form the consumers. This assignment is showing the background of the company andthe problems which are related to their management of supply chain. It also contains the use ofviable system module by which Aramex will be able to deal with the problems raised in theirmanagement (Aquilani and et.al., 2017). At last, this report will show the role of leaders inhandling those critical situations, so that their production rate will not drop down and theenvironment of the company is maintained. COMPANY BACKGROUNDAramex is an international logistics and mail delivery service organisation. The companywas established in 1982 by Jordanian Fadi and Bill Ghandour. This company was listed in theNASDAQ stock exchange becoming the first company of Jordan in doing so. The company ishaving more than 13,000 employees and in more than 54 countries (Jamali, Mohanna andPanossian, 2017). Aramex became the first international courier company in middle east. Due tothe civil wars and difficult foreign relationships, there were not many international couriercompany. In 1984, the administration has started their operations with less than $1 millionrevenues. In 1997, the company became the first company to be listed in the American stockexchange and at that time the evaluation was $24 million. The total revenue generated that yearwas $66 million with the gross profit of $31 million. Aramex has expanded their business in more than 120 locations in 33 countries, becausethe market is on rise in middle east. In 2002, the company sold their majority of shares to Abraajcapital for $65 million. 75% of the total shares were owned by the company and suddenly the netincome has seen a growth from $4 million to &11 million (Grosse, 2016). The supply chainmanagement is very vast because they are operating in several countries. This also makes thesystem very complex and highly challenging. The company is getting their financial services by1
involving private sectors in their management processes. They became the first company ofmiddle east to release their sustainability report in 2006. The projects of Aramex are related tothree key figures; time, quality and resources. The environment of the company is such that thedemand and needs of the consumers will keep on fluctuating. It is very essential for anyorganisation to have a highly developed supply chain management so that the products andservices can be delivered to the consumers in very short duration of time. Even thought, themanagement is very innovative, it will be having some problems related to the distribution ofgoods or improper communication among the members. PROBLEM SCENARIOThe observation was being done and it was found out that the communication is not clearin the organisation which eventually leads to the loss in cost, schedule and scope. This willdisturb the environment of the company because there will be high tension at the work placewhich is not good in context with production (Yaacoub and et.al., 2015). The market demandand needs are changing and due to this uncertainty, the supply chain management is gettingdisturbed. At the same time, there are highly challenging commodity prices, the increase in thecompetition for the supply of raw materials and drastic change in weather related problems arealso causing the problem for the supply chain management. The final issue is related to thecommunication level among the employees of the organisation and their senior level managers. These problems cannot be solved by employing high class chain management system but also itmust reduce the risk at the workplace. Several projects and modules are executed at the different level in the organisation whichmakes their requirements and time separate. It is possible that one consumer want their productto be deliver immediately and others want their product at different time. Therefore, a proper andfully functioning supply chain management system is very necessary so that it will not create anymistakes in supplying the products to their respective consumers (Allen and Galiano, 2017).There, the system methodologies became very useful because by using the viable systemmodule, proper communication can be established and the management system can be improved. It will reduce the management problems and helps inn establishing proper communicationchannel in the organisation. 2
