NIT2113 Cloud App Development: Design of Online Laptop Retailer App

This project focuses on the design and initial implementation of an online laptop computer retailer application using Salesforce for cloud-based CRM. The assignment outlines the application's structure, including user authentication, invoice processing, and the utilization of Salesforce APIs via a JavaScript library. The document explores the connection process, detailing how users log in using usernames and passwords, and how the invoice process is managed within the Salesforce environment. It covers various aspects like customer details, invoice data, and the use of custom and standard fields. 1. Introduction
The main aim of this project is to develop the design and implementation of the online
laptop computer retailer app. The salesforce system can be used for customer relationship
management platform. Our cloud-based CRM application can be used for online laptop
computer retailer on sales service, marking and it requires IT experts to set up or manage the
app. Thus, simply log in and start connecting with the customers in the whole new way. The
salesforce business development app can be used for the invoice data, Line items of an
invoice, Customer details, Standard Fields, Custom Fields and Relationships. All these areas
will be investigated.
2. Process
The salesforce can be used for the JavaScript library by utilizing the salesforces APIs.
It works both in browser and can be used for Node.js. It capsulate the access to various API
provided by salesforce in asynchronous JavaScript function calls (Chao, 2014).

3. Connection
User name and password
When you have the salesforce username and password (and maybe security token, if
required) and these details i.e., username and password can be used commonly on
Connection#login (username, password) to establish a connection with the salesforce (Cruz
Zapata, 2013).
Invoice process
Go to the app setupcustomizeinvoicesalesforceok. Then, click on the new
salesforce (Guermeur and Unruh, 2010).

Open the new template name “use as Invoice.”
Click on the save button and customize the page (Hanjura and Shiriskar, 2014).

Take the URL and copy the invoice page on the customer details. Then, pass the parameters
on name as, status invoice.
Click on the ok button and the invoice pages can be displayed with the details of invoice
number, customer number, invoice status and the total invoice details (Rodger, 2012).

4. Conclusion
This project is successfully completed developing on the design and implementation
of the online laptop computer retailer app.
