(Source: Author developed ,2019 based on evoma,2016)The voluntary sector is generally beneficial and enriching to the society, often asa motive without profit and with little or no governmental intervention.Unlikeprivate owners who insist on profit and return to their owners, the money raisedor earned by an organization in the voluntary sector is usually invested in thecommunity or organization. One way to think about the voluntary sector is that itspurpose is to create social wealth rather than material wealth.(Hedley,Roochester and Smith ,2005)In supermarket industry Lanka Sathosa is under the public sector organisations. It is owned by largest retail network business in Sri Lanka.
