WORKBOOK 1 COMPLETION OPTIONSPlease read the following information regarding completion options for Workbook 1 relating to thedelivery mode you are enrolled in. SELF-PACEDDELIVERYLearners undertaking TAE40110 through Self-Paced will need to complete Workbook 1 submit itfor assessment and have it assessed as satisfactory by HBA Learning Centres before attemptingand submitting Workbook 2. Workbook 3 can be attempted before or after completing Workbook 2.NOTE: Remember you have 24 hour access to our learner forum as well as regular access to ourtrainer and assessors via phone or email.If you do require assistance please call 1300721503 oremail assess@hbalearningcentres.com.au.BLENDED DELIVERYLearners undertaking TAE40110 through Blended Delivery should attempt to complete thefollowing sections of Workbook 1 prior to attending the face to face component of the course: Preliminary SectionSection 1After attending the face to face component of the course learners are expected to completeWorkbook 1 submit it for assessment and have it assessed as satisfactory by HBA LearningCentres before attempting and submitting Workbook 2. Workbook 2 will form the focus of the day face to face days of the course. Workbook 2 will requiresome work including the delivery of a second 40 minute delivery session and correspondingactivities in the learners own time as homework and as post course. Workbook 3 will be required to be completed in learners own time and can be attempted pre orpost the face to face components of the course. INTENSIVE DELIVERYLearners undertaking TAE40110 through Intensive Delivery are expected as a minimum tocomplete the following sections of Workbook 1 prior to attending the face to face component ofthe course: Preliminary SectionSection 1Learners are encouraged to continue to work through each section of Workbook 1 prior toattending face to face delivery where they are able to. However as a minimum should havecompleted the sections detailed above prior to attending face to face. Learners will be issued specific sections of Workbook 1 to complete and Homework during the faceto face component of the course and as post course work as required.Workbook 2 will form the focus of the Intensive Delivery 5 day face to face component. Workbook2 will require some work including the delivery of a second 40 minute delivery session andcorresponding activities in the learners own time post course. EXTENDED DELIVERY (8 DAYS FACETO FACE)Learners undertaking TAE40110 through the Extended Delivery modelare expected as a minimumto complete the following sections of Workbook 1 prior to attending the face to face component ofthe course: Preliminary SectionSection 1Learners are encouraged to continue to work through each section of Workbook 1 prior toattending face to face delivery where they are able to. However as a minimum should havecompleted the sections detailed above prior to attending face to face. ABOUTTHIS WORKBOOKThis workbook is designed to be used in conjunction with the Learner Guide for TAE40110 andalso requires you to undertake research and demonstrate the underpinning knowledge that will beneeded for the assessment tasks in Workbook 2 (Practical) which you will complete once beenfound satisfactory in Workbook 1. Workbook 3 has been designed to be completed in theworkplace, as such learners can select at which stage of the studies they complete this workbook.The work you complete in this workbook is used as evidence to contribute to your overallcompetence in the underpinning knowledge requirements for this qualification. There are 10 Unitsof Competency that form a full Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Once you have successfully completed all three (3) workbooks and been assessed as competentby HBA, you will have achieved your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. ELEMENTSOF ASSESSMENTThe elements of each activity in this workbook need to be undertaken, completed, and returned toHBA electronically for assessment. Any additional answer sheets, information, or evidencesupplied by the learner to support their assessments should be returned with this workbook. In undertaking an activity in this workbook you may be asked to: Answer questionsConduct researchComplete templatesNOTE: Some activities may require you to undertake internet or other research. This research assists in meeting competency and in answering some questions.CHECKINGOFF ASSESSMENT TASKSAs you complete each activity you should check it off against the supplied activity checklist andattach any additional supplementary evidence required to meet competency. In signing off on eachactivity you are declaring that YOU have undertaken the specified task/s. Where it is verified that astudent fraudulently signed off on an assessment item as being their own work when it is not,competency will be withheld and the relevant authorities notified. SUBMITTING ASSESSMENT WORKBOOKSOnly completed assessment activity items with appropriate evidence which is valid under theRegistering Authority guidelines, and the terms of the RTO and its authorised delegates will beused toward determining competence.You mustsubmit your assessments in the Workbooks provided in their original format. Untidy, unclear, or hard to decipher material will be returned to the learner without assessmentbeing conducted. HBA will not undertake assessment until the evidence supplied is in a format thatmeets the professional standard required by those working in leadership roles in the workplace.
