INTRODUCTION
Talent management introduces as an effective and systematic process of analysing the
vacant position, recruiting the right person, creating the expertise and skills of individual to
match the position and retaining them to accomplish long term business objectives. Therefore, it
is an useful process of planning, attracting, selecting, developing, retaining and transitioning of
employees to attain organisational vision. For this research project Hilton Hotels & Resorts is
chosen hospitality industry. It is an international brand of full-service hotel and resorts. It was
founded in 1919 by Conrad Hilton and headquartered in McLean, Virginia, United State. Hilton
hotel is targeted at both leisure and business travellers with locations in major city centers, near
airports and popular vacation destinations in all over the world. Main purpose of conducting this
research project is to identify the positive and negative impact of talent management on both
organisational as well as employees performance (Noe, Hollenbeck, Gerhart and Wright, 2017).
This report based on different tasks which includes, research aim and objectives,
literature review, research methodology, data analysis and interpretation, recommendation and so
on. These are important activities which will be beneficial for researcher while completion of
research in systematic manner.

P3 Conduct primary and secondary research using appropriate methods for a tourism or
hospitality research project that consider costs, access and ethical issues.
Primary and secondary are two types of research which will be more useful for researcher
to gather reliable and in-depth information regarding the talent management (Casey, Schwartz,
Stewart and Adler, 2016). For conducting primary and secondary investigation, there are
different methods which will be appropriate for hospitality industry are determine as below:
Costs: It is one of the main method which must be needed by researcher while conducting
primary and secondary research in systematic manner. In adaptation of different methods and
techniques appropriate amount of capital will be needed by researcher. As cost is useful and
valuable method for researcher while conducting of primary and secondary investigation in
systematic manner.
Access: It can be determined as the appropriate academic and ethical practices applied to
gain entry to a given community for the motive of conducting primary and secondary research.
