INTRODUCTION
Talent management can be defined the process of recruiting such individuals who are
able to contribute in the attainment of all the business goals. It is very important for all the
organisations to make sure that this element is focused by all of them so that the plan which are
formed for betterment of business could be achieved. All the leaders and managers of companies
are required to assure that they recruit talented staff so that business could be grown (Poudel,
Nyaupane and Budruk, 2016). The organisation which is selected for this report is Trafalgar. It is
operating business in different locations which are New Zealand, Central America, Asia etc.
Currently it is executing at global level. This assignment covers various topics which are
assessment of the adverse effects of tourism industry, development of sustainable tourism,
analysis of the process which is required top develop an effective sustainable tourism strategy
etc. Apart from this, evaluation of the contribution of key stakeholders and comparison along
with contrasting of outcomes of the tourism strategies in the emerging destination are also
covered in this report.

P1. Adverse impact of travel and tourism that have drive the need for sustainable tourism
development
Tourism is very important for all the countries and in order to growth economy it is one
of the main element which is required to be focused by all the nations. If it provides various
benefits to the countries then there are several drawbacks of it which are affecting the
architecture heritage and structure of the nations. In order to deal with all of them the travel
agencies such as Trafalgar are required to take initiative so that they ca respond all the challenges
effectively (Ali and Frew, 2014). Sustainable tourism is the efforts which are made by
individuals as well as nations for the purpose of creating positive impact upon society, economy
and environment. Some of the key adverse impact of tourism which are creating the need for
sustainable tourism are as follows:
Damage to landscape: When the level of tourism in a nation is very high then it may
result in damage top land scape. Due to this, the architecture of the country will be impacted. In
order to deal with it sustainable tourism is required because it will help to reduce the adverse

implications by controlling such activities which may harm the landscape. By supporting the
sustainable tourism countries will be able to control the damage to the landscape.
Increment in diseases: Tourism results in increased disease because large number of
people travel from one country to another. It is resulting in higher level of deaths around the
world. Currently, one of the live examples of it is increased number of patients who are suffering
from coronavirus disease (Zeppel, 2015). The main reasons for its huge impact is tourism
because travellers who are infected of this medical situation spreading it unintentionally. In order
to deal with this situation it is very important to introduce the concept of sustainable tourism.
With the help of it, all the issues which are affecting the countries due to tourism will be dealt
properly.
Pollution: It is one of the major impact of tourism which is affecting all the countries
around the world. It is essential to deal with it appropriately so that architecture of the country
could be improved. Pollution creating the need of sustainable tourism which is required to reduce
negative impact of it.
From the above discussion it has been analysed that there are various negative
implications of tourism which are resulting in need of sustainable tourism.
P2. Discussion of conceptual development of sustainable tourism and the way in which it has
evolved
Sustainable tourism: It can be defined as the activities which are related to the tourism
and result in welfare to environment, society and economy. With the help of it all the negative
implications which are affecting the nations could be reduced. It is highly focused with
development of positive experience for the local citizens, companies and all the tourists who are
travelling from one place to another (Zamfir and Corbos, 2015). In other words it can be defined
as a type of travelling which leave no or a lower level of negative impact upon the places which
are visited by an individual. There are three main components of it which are nature
preservation, animal and human welfare. In order to become the more sustainable tourist a
person may take various initiatives which are as follows:
Take care of all the heritage places which are visited.
Ignoring all the activities which are related to illegal trade.
Making reduction in the carbon footprint.
Including such alternatives in the trip which are focused with sustainable tourism.
