entertainment. The band group is known to be a popular Korean singing music group which have
gained success into the industry within less time. The report has identified that, the problems
arrives for the issue of managing skilful talent in music industry. There are several problems
identified in terms of giving respect, confidentiality and keep them retained with their internal
music talent . The challenge also drives out to be using different techniques and language
barriers which impact on their functioning. Therefore, it has seen that the BTS group needs to
involve in talent management practices that will work practically in eliminating challenges and
problems. The recommendation and proposed solution has provided through appropriate finds
and analysis of the overall case. It has done through finding right principles and factors that will
affect the music industry to grow. The trends, market opportunities and audience wants are the
main priorities. The problem encountered are about huge obsession of the fans, adopting digital
technology and the legislative act of south Korea.

INTRODUCTION
The report is going to provide discussion and analysis on the issue of problem faced by
the BTS group in terms of talent creation and retention. The report aims to analyse about issues
of talent management faced by music band groups. Talent management is an important concept
for every organisation or institution (Maździarz, 2018). Whether it is a music band or event
programmes, talent strategies are required in order to cope up win the market and achieve goals
and objectives. The main problem of the BTS group is that they could not find the balance
between their major impact of the talent system and maintain respect towards each individual
artist. The Big hit company is largely a group of Korean band. It has revealed that, the band
group has achieved their billboard album in 2020. For further instance, the company has trained
the employees of young age group in order to manage their career and give fame into the market.
The album released with the name of dynamite which has took much rise among the audience.
The band is known for their distinctive Korean style of music which has been dominated through
the large companies like SM entertainment, YG, JYP since the year 1990s. Once their music
have seen drastically among the audience, the Korean band has started their company with the
name of Big Hit entertainment. Therefore, this report is going to analyse the main problem
which they find difficult regarding managing talented people. Also, there will be a detailed
description about the band and their problems through appropriate analysis and findings. At last,
a solution will be provided to overcome the issues of acquiring skill and talent with the band
group.

each one of them.
 To discuss the strategies used for eliminate talent differentiation from BTS group for
their long term success.

Description of the situtaion
Big hit entertainment is a K-pop blockbuster band which is known as BTS (Behind the
Scene). The company is known for their hit Korean music which is sung by the group of 7
talented artist. They are found to be the most popular bands of the k-pop industry. In 2020, they
have achieved a big hit in the album which has placed on billboards. K-pop industry is highly
growing into the globe which has shown that the industry has contributed in the career
development of the artist. They have provided training to the artist by giving contract with other
music companies (Baniata Anaqreh, and Kertesz, 2021). Mainly, the artist are of young age
group which provided all kinds of services in the music industry through revealing albums,
concerts, make appearances and debuting. As every professional has business side and decided
roles similarly, here at BTS, all the services are provided by thee company under one roof. The
CEO of BTS use 360 degree approach to mange all the work whether for recording, labelling,
concern and also, they have separate management department. The issue facing by the BTS
group is about managing talent across culture and keep the respect of everyone at place. Due to
the language barriers, they could not reach effectively at global level. The band lacks in
multilingual aspects which makes them non presentable into the other countries. They does not
involve outside community expect the Korean group for the welfare of the industry in their
national country. Therefore, they have less influence in the American countries in which the song
does not takes pride (Kim, 2021). The another reason of the failure is that, the band mainly
focus on singing emotionally and attached songs which could not be understand by every
audience and leaves a suspense. The case study represents that the K-pop group needs to
critically use talent management strategies which will secure their position in the market. It is the
major problems for the BTS group to undertake all the effective standards without entering into
the global market. As per the rules in the South Korea, there is the requirement to involve in
military services once the people attain the age group of above 18.
Problem statement
Statement of problem: The problems encounters in the Big hit entertainment has many
categorisation. The problems are identifying on the basis of their national and global strategy
which the band use while representing their music. The main problems are described below:

 one of the problem identified by the case study of BTS group is that K pop band which
has high fan base into the market. Due to this reason, the fans becomes highly obsessed
with the artist that they leads into high expectations. While taking a concert, the fan
community engage into wrong practices which is harmful for the particular artist. They
cross the limits and enegage in stealing information and data from many hacked sources.

 The other issues involve in the BTS group is the language barriers in their artistic
community, due to the fact the the band mainly focus on Korean language and their most
of the songs are in the same language. It hinders their insight from the global audience

situation for the band to gain n a healthy future in the world. Also, their songs are mainly
related to the emotional content has some or the other stories behind the theme. It is
difficult for the fans to understand the theme (Dharaningtyas, and Nizar, 2021). Due to
this, the company wants to reassess their strategy in an effective way as they have
analysed that, it is required for the professionals to undertake the market growth through
involving in market research.
 The another problem is that the Big hit entertainment is entitled with the rule in south
Korea. In the future, the BTS group needs to enrol in the military activities for the 18
months. It is compulsory for the members to prepare themselves for this activities. Apart
from this, the make citizens needs to perform the same acts before they attains the age of
28. It is necessary that, the members needs to involve in the activities and training for the
young citizens which are in better the age of 12 to 15. they need to invest in new people
to grow them at the same level. This problem is required to address in order to save the
time and cost. They should analyse that the BTS group needs to retains the matured artist
and make them free.
 The BTS group also facing problem of the artist community in which they need to give
preference and respect to each one of them. Every individual has distinct personality and
talent which is liked by the audience. This shows that, the members of BTS group has
different fan base but they have to create a culture of mutual respect in the K-pop
industry. This has become a problem in which the company has to set an appropriate
standards for the future that will lead to save the future of this industry and no one will

feel disrespected (Vuk, 2019). Therefore, the industry is required to opt the success
through analysing the problems in broader sense.
Proposed plan analysis
The analysis of the purpose plan shows that how the BTS company needs to implement their
solution and strategy in order to manage talented artist in the company. Due to facing some
problems the BTS could find obstacles in their future planning. The solutions needs to be based
on the questions of the resort. an appropriate analysis is presented below:

into the market. This industry also require talented and skillful professionals similarly in other
businesses. The need for talent and skill is most appropriate in the BTS group as they have gain
reputed name an audience wants to see them growing rather than declining their existence. The
music industry is such which attract the people emotionally and mentally from the artist. They
create a fan following in which the people belongs to this community wants to know about their
favourite Artist and get concern about their successful (Ryu, 2019). Therefore it is important to
have mature and skillful individuals who could take the company on a growth stage. Audience
Trends and likes and dislikes are changing according to the market preferences this impacts on
music industry as well as the need to work on concerts events and music albums as per audience
demand. This could be then through providing appropriate training to the people who are
interested in music and give them opportunity to showcase that talent to be a part of BTS group.
This factor also focus on investing in younger generation rather than the existing one who have
already attend their maturity age.

of each artist:

It is a culture or a kind of genre which is followed by keep up music industry that every artist is
deserving and has their internal talent which is unique from others. It shows that every art is
needs to be respected and give respect to others as well. The challenges is comes here is
about giving them opportunities and right trainings to involve their participation. This will
be done through signing a contract with the company to remain on the position of trainee.
The individuals could not move on to other companies in order to get the first music album
launched. It is a great way to make the individuals reach to their most potential and skill of
music (Zámková, and et.al 2021). Therefore, the BTS company needs to involve attractive
personalities and good performers who could maintain standard. It will solve the problem of
giving fake respect and every individual will get it through having a deserving personality.
What are the strategies could be adopted by the BTS to eliminate talent differentiation
from the BTS group?
There are many strategies which could involve participation of talented individuals in BTS
company. It is necessary to carry out recruitment practices and finding the right talent for music
industry. It is not much difficult task for the other businesses to attract candidates who could full
fill their job vacancies but in music industry it require in a talent and self interest to be a part of
it. The BTS group has decided to use talent development model in which they will find, train and
inspire versatile individuals into their company to make the brand more popular and retain for
long time. This model includes the first stage in which the BTS group will find the right talent
for the company (Wong,2020). They will find the candidates through auditions and scouts. The
singers of South Korea has involved in opening up there abilities and are often looking for the
opportunities to showcase their talent. The next step could be train most appropriate candidates
which have found. Training makes them more professional and where about the practical
working in music looks like. The trainings at BTS is a big opportunity for the individuals which
conduct for 6 days within a week in which they provide all the basic and high knowledge about
music and its chords. The next step could be launching them in front of the audience which is the
most critical stage. At this phase the training needs to be attentive and responsible for their
behaviour which should not leave any negative aspects that could destroy their future.

It has analysed from the purpose plan and the literature review that the BTS industry is
continuing it's renowned name in the heart of the audience. It has faced grade challenges and
opportunities till now which has involved positive aspects for their friends and community. But
with the Global strategic concern comma the company has secured the future of the seven artist
which has created the BTS name to the successful Heights (MKim,Maeng, and Jang, 2019).
Therefore the company now required to higher more appropriate individuals and give them
opportunities to make their career bright. It is also essential to involve fresh talent and give each
artist a proper training to showcase their talent in a professional way. The company is now
concerned with considering training model to secure their future by investing in modern Trends
of talented and skilful individual.
Findings
 It has find out that the BTS is one of the most reputed and desired banned of the
audience. It has achieved rise in number of debutes and albums which has contributed in
creating more fan followings of the band. As in recent years the band has gain huge buzz
on their recent album through finding it on billboards. They still working to make their
music hit in every corner of the world. They are still presenting their production and
Service Management in a better terms which may lead to secure future in a positive way.
 The another factor which is found from the discussion on BTS case the company has
settled down effectively in making collaboration with other music bands. It is also a great
way to make success to maintain a relationship and give opportunities to build right talent
through taking suggestions.
 The Korean pop industry is contributing widely in music and bands. They have grown
from the huge hands of SM yg and JVP contributions. This companies have high
investment and recurring and fastering talent within the industry. They have built a
culture of giving respect to age individual artist who have shown there hard work towards
music. The industry is focused on dignity and values which does not late down.
 The above discussion involved some issues in which the BTS is facing a problem in full
feeling the expectation of the fan community. The excessive compsession has lead to
influence the singers in a harmful way which is not acceptable. These issues may arrive
due to having in differentiate personalities of individuals who have gain audience

in the market.
 The issues includes that the young male citizens has to involve in the military services
before their respective ages. Therefore the BTS company needs to other to these
regulations and free the artist for the these opportunities. Their four they need to more
focus on hiring candidates between the age of 12 to 15 that will be the new future of k-
pop industry.
Proposed solution to problems
 From All the above discussions there are many outputs find out from the literature
sources and finding. It has shown that the company needs to involve in more effective
practices to make their future sustained. This could be done through following the
mention recommendations which are presented below:
 The biggest music band which is BTS in kpop industry needs to invest in younger talent
groups which are of middle ages and has time to secure the future with music. The needs
to get opportunity to be representable and enthusiastic towards the singing and maintain
the name of kpop industry into the Global market.
 The BTS company needs to involve innovations and digital technology more rapidly in
order to get connect with the audiences which creates huge fan following and expect
something in return. This will keep them more engaged with the band and will not miss
any concerts or events of their favourite music artists. This issue will resolve the problem
of treating every artist in a same way as everyone will know there potential and the weak
once will work on improvising it.
 The another suggestion is to create training programs for the interested candidates who
wants to make their future in kpop industry. It will enhance the potential and create a
requisite existence of this industry at the global level.

industry. They have accomplished several milestones and goals to make the music hit and
globally expanded. There for the report has identified some issues and problems came for the
BTS group full stop these issues are mainly of linguistic barriers finding right talents and
maintain a dignity of artist. Also regulating laws creates much influence on the industry to take
appropriate decisions. There for the report has provided and appropriate analysis and finding on
the whole view and make recommendations which could be helpful to create a successful future.
