Introduction
Human resource management is the way to manage the human resource by training,
selecting and developing them achieve the desired of the organization. It is a strategic approach
that is helpful in proper management of the people to enhance the brand image of the company
and the best people should be hired into the business so that they can be more productive,
happier and can contribute more to the company. The report further highlights the role of
research skills, analytical skills and abilities for the particular subject area that is Talent
Management. The company chosen for the project is Sainsbury’s which is a one of the largest
supermarket chains in London. It was founded in the year 1869 by John James Sainsbury (Crane
and Hartwell 2019). The company has product lines in different categories and it has a
diversified business in the market with strong customer base. The project further explains the HR
practices with the best recommendations to be followed by the company. The report will further
explain the issue that is Talent Management which can be analyzed with the help of
management report.

The project is made to highlight the role of the talent management with HR generic
strategies in order to retain the talent and the employees can be retained in the company to
increase the level of the profitability in the company.
Talent Management is the process of combination of various steps such as selection,
attraction and retention of the human resource so that they can perform better. The main goal of
the talent management is to make the employees better in order to perform better in the
competitive market. Moreover, it also helps the management to tackle the human resource
effectively and the company also require the best talent for achieving new levels of success.
When the focus will be shifted to the employees they will contribute more to the company
(Anlesinya and Amponsah-Tawiah, 2020). Sainsbury’s also focus on the ways to manage the
talent of the company by following such strategies which are beneficial to enhance the overall
performance of the employees such as training and guidance to grow the behavior to achieve the
