suitable person, developing the skills and expertise person which can help to develop the
organization and maintain higher performance. This is the methodology of organising, and
arranging resources properly by working properly. This is important for organization to have
skilled and talented people as they analysis the goals and perform their roles and responsibilities
effectively. To understand about this Maritime Transport Ltd. has been selected that is UK
based, market leading intermodal logistics company, offering the transportation of good and
services, freight management, curtain sided distribution and others which can help to develop the
organizational performance (Luna-Arocas, Danvila-Del Valle and Lara, 2020). The management
of such organization analysis the market and introduce the new services which are important to
complete the project. By using the talent management, Human resources retain the existing staff
and recruit more suitable candidates which can help to develop the business productivity. The
report covers aim and objectives, project plan, conducting research, finding and reflective
practices that supports to develop the research.

Scope – Talent management is the practice of arranging and managing people at the
workplace then getting the work done properly. The current project mainly highlights on
important factors which can be used to influence staff and retain them for long period. The
format of managing talent is used to present and predict how research practices will be attracting
the individuals and retaining the top talent. The study focused on practices of talent management
where employees are successfully employed and running their roles effectively.
Time Scale - This is the arrangement of event and particular project that used by companies
to measure the time period in which task should be complete. This is important for researcher to
analysis the relative and absolute duration for antiquity period that can be used to develop the
organizational task. The current research is about talent management in which skilled and
experienced staff are working in certain period of time by preparing schedule and attain the
competitive advantages. The researcher will complete the whole project in 9 weeks that is
specific time period to dome the project (Liu and et.al., 2021).
Cost – This means budget and expenses which are involved in doing a specific project
and getting the higher performance. It has seen that to start and complete any task there is need
to focus on cost as it helps to analysis the budget that incurred while doing any task. In relation

organization as it provides the good results and attaining the higher performance. For each
organization it is important to have proper information and data which could be used to evaluate
the business performance and make the right decision. In relation to current project quantitative
data used by researcher by using primary as well as secondary research.
Communication – This is the process of sharing ideas and information that are used to
analysing project outcomes and achieving outcomes. The researcher used the email, tele phones,
and other practices of communication to develop the information for specific topic and managing
all functions properly.

to be done and planned successfully. In relation to current project researcher has been used Gantt
chat to analysis the activities and complete it properly.

vacancy and taking initiatives to recruit the skilled employees. It is the regular process of
influencing the employees and getting the work done which can help to manage the overall
performance. Human resource management is the main function of organization as it reflects
directly on performance and bring growth as well as success. This person is having different
types of human resource skills and abilities that uses to identify vacancy and recruit the skilled
people. The effect of talent management in company helps to keep all staff encouraged towards
their work and supports to increase the profitability. Employee engagement is the fundamental
concept in the efforts to understand, describe and getting the work done effectively by using
skills and abilities. In relation to Maritime Transport Ltd., talent management is having major
role as human resource as it understands the employee’s requirement and provide the kind of
products and services. The management identify the vacant position and fill them by analysing
skills and abilities which can help to develop the organizational performance.

behaviours that leads to improve business outcomes and working properly. For companies it is

resource management not focused over the talent management due to which business affected
negatively such as:
Increasing employee turnover – Talent management is the activity of arranging and
managing people at the workplace. To run a business employee motivation is needed that can
help to boost the morale and make decision to retain at the workplace. Maritime Transport Ltd is
facing the challenge of higher employee turnover as they are motivated and does not perform all
working properly (Harsch and Festing, 2020).
Challenge faced in recruiting talented people – Employees are assets of organization who
understand goals and perform their roles and responsibilities clearly. Maritime Transport Ltd., is
facing the challenges in recruiting the skilled and experienced people that affected the
organizational productivity and profitability.
Lack of employee engagement – The challenge of employee engagement is another issue
which is facing by companies due to lack of talent management. In relation to Maritime
Transport Ltd., talent management practices are not followed by the management which created
the challenge for organization to run the business.
To elaborate the different talent management strategies that can be use by Maritime Transport
Ltd to attracting and retaining top talent.
As per opinion of Cismaru and Iunius (2020), Talent management practices are needed at
the workplace as it used to influence the number of employees and getting the work done timely.

used that are as explained:
Selecting talented people- The organization can attract and retain the talented people by
identifying vacancy and recruit the skilled people who can work and manage each function. The

method. And when information is collected from secondary sources such as books and journal,
article, magazine, and others. In relation to current project about talent management, researcher
has been used primary as well as secondary resources which are helpful to managing each
function and activities regularly and supports to complete the task (Chen, Lee and Ahlstrom,
2021).
Sampling technique – This methodology shows technique which used to analysis the
information which are collected and it rely on effective method. In other words, sampling is the
technique of selecting individual member from the population to make statistical inference that
can help to make right decision. This involve probability and non-probability sampling that
supports to managing all functions. In relation to current project researcher used the probability
technique in which it selected 30 individual where population is higher. In this, equal opportunity
is getting by all individuals which can help to develop organizational functions (Bagheri and
et.al., 2020).
Data analysis – Data analysis is the process of identifying, inspecting, cleansing,
transforming, and modelling data with the aim of discovering useful information and making
right decision. The technique of data analysis is qualitative and quantitative which uses to collect

information and managing the resources properly. In relation to talent management strategy
project quantitative technique is used by researcher that helps to get effective information and
manages each function properly.
Ethical consideration – This is related to ethical aspects which required to complete the
project with the help following ethical principles. The data is presented with the help of chart and
follows the ethical principles which supports to manage each task. In relation to current project,
researcher make sure that all ethical principles, informed consent and others which are followed
to complete the project and manage overall activities. The name of employee who are involved

REFLECTIVE PRACTICES
The above project is done by me by identifying about talent management and its
strategies which helps to analysis own strength and weakness that I possess. I am sharing my
experience by using the Kolb reflection model. This project was very important for me where I
came to know about importance of talent management and how to use it in organization for the
purpose of attracting and retaining talented people. This study helped me to complete the
research and attain decided objectives in certain period of time. In this, I collected the data and
information by using my skills such as clear communication, collaboration, writing and team
building skills that supported me how to use the data and influence employees. I conducted
primary and secondary research for collecting information and bring out the changes if needed.
This project has increased my skills in which I was lack such as time management skills,
planning, and budgeting skills which is important to complete any research or project. These
skills are needed to have in myself as it would help me to complete whole project by formulating
planning and allocating work in to different steps which supports to managing each function and

activities. The skills in which I feels lack can be improved by taking online classes and regular
basis which can help to support the business and maintain higher performance. The classes
helped me out to improve time management and other skills in which I was lack and also
supported to organization infrastructure.
CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
Conclusion
From the report it can be concluded that talent management is playing important role at
the workplace who analysis vacancy and recruit the skilled people. The management should be
focus on different talent management practice which can help to influence people and getting the
work done. The researcher has been used quantitative technique to analysis data and primary as
well as secondary resources which supports to collect the information and maintain higher
performance.
Recommendation
 Maritime transport Ltd, should be focus over talent management and its important which
can help to influence the staff at the workplace.
 This is recommended to Maritime to participate each staff in organizational working and
make the right business decision (Ahmad and et.al., 2020).
 The senior management of selected company should provide feedback form which can
help to analysis issues that arises while working and affected the business.
 The management of Maritime should be follow recruitment & selection, training and
development, motivation, and creating good working environment which can help to
remove the obstacles and increase the organizational productivity.
