Particular Description
Scope The scope of this project is to determine the talent management
practices used by organisation to retain their staff members for
longer duration. A study on Google. Talent management strategies
helps the employees in working more effectively and retaining them
for long time (ARDIATAMA, 2021). This results in reducing
employee turnover ratio of an organisation. The scope of this
research is much wider which results in enhancing organisational
productivity and employees productivity as well. Further, talent
management results in helping small start-ups to maintain positive
environment in business environment.
Cost It is the most crucial element of project plan as it is the cost or value
which is needed for completion of this project. For conducting
research, it is important to have enough funds with organisation.
They should manage all activities according to the cost decided. In
this particular research, researcher is using appropriate budget for
allocating their resources. The amount which is needed for
completion of this project is about £800 and carrying out all the
activities (Nixon, Mayo, and Koo, 2021). And completion this
project as well.
Time Time is the another aspect which is coming in project plan. It is the
time which is needed for completion of this project. It is important
to make a schedule for each activity which is occurring within
research. The time invested in this particular study is about 8
weeks. There is a use of WBS and Gantt chart in order to make a
schedule of a given project so that its aims and objectives can be
achieved successfully within definite period.
Quality Quality is the most important element which is to be maintained by

researcher while collecting data and information. In this study,
researcher is using primary and secondary source of data to get
reliable and in-depth information about a talent management topic.
Primary research is brings reliable and accurate information through
use of questionnaire survey and secondary research is bringing in
depth knowledge about topic through literature review (Nkala,
Mudimu, and Mbengwa, 2021). So, this helps in providing high
quality of work to the audience.
Risk It is said that risk can be occur in any of the research. In this
particular research, researcher is having certain risk like lack of
interest of people, lack of funds and coordination among teams etc.
so this might result in not getting reliable and true information
about a particular task and topic chosen.
Communication This report is based on analysis of talent management strategies
used in Google to retain employees. It includes various activities
and task to be performed. Researcher is using both verbal and non-
verbal communication in this research. Verbal communication is
done face to face while communicating with respondents who are
filling questionnaire form and nonverbal is through email and
messages etc. Communication helps in gaining more information
and collecting reliable and valid data about a given topic (Wolters,
2021).
Resources Resources are necessary for every research. So, this helps
researcher in understanding in getting better information. The
resources which are required for completing this research is
stationary, respondents, secondary data and primary data analysis.
Further, different books and journals helps in collecting more and
in-depth information about a topic.
Milestone This report includes introduction, project aims and objectives,
project plan. Further, it includes literature review and data

interpretation to meet the objectives.
Initiation, planning and execution
At initiation plan, project aims and objectives are mentioned. Then in planning phase,
project plan, WBS and Gantt chart is made to conduct research on a given time period (Dzimbiri,
and Molefi, 2021). And in execution phase, primary research and literature review is done to
collect more information. Further, recommendation and conclusion made for a given research.
Work breakdown structure
It is a process of dividing various activities into smaller components. It is used in project
management. It is regarded as a key project deliverable that organise work of team into various
managerial sections.
Gantt chart
It is regarded as type of bar chart that display dependency relationship between activities
and current schedule status. In this, all the activities are performed in vertical axis and time
interval in horizontal axis (Mahmoud, 2021). They are equated on bar charts.

Yes, I have achieved all aims and objectives of this given research project. As I have gained
reliable and valid information which helps me in getting better outcomes. I have analysed the
information which is received from data collection methods.
What aspects of your development process do you think worked well and why? Evaluate all
aspects of the project (e.g. initial research, concept development, development process,
presentation, etc.) from a range of perspectives.
The best thing which works so well within this research project is team spirit and working with
the group. This helps me in making a project plan, aims and objectives and WBS which results
in dividing activities according to the schedule and completing it accordingly. I have collected
information from various method such as secondary information is collected through books and
journals and primary information is collected through questionnaire survey which brings
reliable information.
What problems emerged during the project and how were they tackled? Was there timely
identification of issues and resolution during the project process?
There are certain problems which originate at the time of conducting this project is time get
mismanaged and conflicts between team members also. I have make them understand and try to
reduce their issues. I have taken use of WBS and Gantt chart which includes a schedule of
activities divided according to the weeks. Yes, I have timely identified all the issues and
resolution of those issues during this project process.
