Task – 1
Leadership style may be defined as an approach or technique which provides
direction, major role to motivate other people and implementation of plans are
there in different styles of leadership. Different styles of leadership are mostly
developed through practical experiences and continuous training in the
organization. MTCR is a company which manufactures and lead in hardware
solutions. Sally as a senior manager contributes to make effective plans which help
to grow in the organization structure for longer period of time. The effective
leadership styles which are used by Sally in leading company are as follows:-
1. Democratic Leadership – This leadership style has qualities where people
are more engaged, accountable and participative also and Sally as a senior
manager is compiled with positive styles where she is assigned for some
different project in her carrier. Teamwork and cooperation with other team
members is the effective tool she has applied with proper analyse of project
requirements (Leadership Toolbox, 2018).
2. Collaborative Leadership – This is a type of leadership which motivate and
influences people which are present in the organization. Sally with her active
participation in assigned project is collaborative with her peers and took
active participation by conducting meetings and involve everyone to be
participative in the planning system. Accomplishment of targets and goals
can be achieved by nurturing of emotional intelligence with social
engagement of employees in the organization (Nguyen, 2018).
3. Transactional Leadership – A transactional leader have a capabilities of
leading international projects and they are more focussed on resolving issues
of their coordinates where there are disputes happening in the organization.
Sally has come over situation when disagreements arise due to involvement
of everyone with the team meetings in the organization workplace. Group
and individual performances can be achieved with involvement of each
employee at their best (St. Thomas University, 2018).
4. Servant Leadership It thrives to meet their employees with
encouragement and cultivate the culture of trust and helps them to complete
the undersigned task in good way. Sally is a servant leader as teamwork is
presented and collaboration with the task associated is also there. She
challenges herself for the new project and she persuades her work with all
the employee of the organization for effective achievement of long term
goals. The encouragement comes with her resolving issues that happened in
the workplace and helps to cope up with those (Prichard, 2013).
5. Strategic Leadership Style Sally is a strategic thinker and adopts
involvement of new possibility with their employees in the workplace. With
efficiency planning of projects, she had planned for the meetings and ready
to deliver her plans with subordinates and employees who can create high
performances goals to achieved strategic thinking. Strategic leader is not
