INTRODUCTION There are a lot of changes which have come in the market or businesses due to pandemic 2020. Tesco has developed a lot over this period. The company was established in 1919 and is having its headquarters in England, United Kingdom. The report discusses the positive impact of pandemic 2020. MAIN BODY Positive impact of Pandemic 2020 The lifestyle of people changed in the pandemic which is a great factor because the customers got more aware of the online stores and shopping. Tesco was able to get in the right technologies and methods to be able to reach out to the customers. There must be no physical contact between the organization and customers therefore the company is having self checkout from the stores which is a very practically technology which Tesco adapted to before pandemic. Tesco is belonging from the retailing industry which is they serve basic requirements of the customers in the market for which the demand never falls. Customers have to fulfill their basic needs and Tesco must find ways to be able to make the customers reach out effectively. Communication online is very strong factor for the company to have and in this pandemic situation the organization did try to get in a lot of offers and discounts for the customers so that the sales does not fall and also help the people who lost their jobs (Lallie and et.al., 2020). Though the market had fallen in the country because it was a complete lockdown in the country and there were no online deliveries as well which were being done by any organization. There were a lot of people who lost their jobs because of this situation which rose in the world and it must be worked upon so that there is going to be effective functioning which is going to be present. There are a lot of small businesses which also started in the lockdown which is going to make the performance of the organization be affected and that needs to be controlled so that the company will be able to work effectively. The company is having the right skills and talented employees in the company which is why it was not difficult for the company to adapt to the changes effectively and efficiently. Getting this changes and focusing on it was not hard and
make the company be able to understand the customers even better so that the organization will be able to improve their products and services accordingly which is going to make the organization have higher performance (Baker, Bloom and Terry, 2020). The organization is having a strong market base and value for themselves in the market which is why the company will be able to operate effectively and efficiently. The hygiene and other aspects of the organization have improved as well so that safety and security of the customers and employees is going to be present in the organization. The climate in the country and globally as well improved which is visible in the lockdown since no factory or industry had manufacturing going on. Climate is very good for the company because they can now deliver more products on services as well as get in a lot of raw materials which is going to be very good for the manufacturing purpose. The economic stability was visible after pandemic took place which is why the organization is able to operate effectively in the market and Tesco got enough time to work internally on their online platform to be able to reach out to the customers in the right way (Kurmann, Lalé and Ta, 2020). There is a requirement of a lot of knowledge and experience which is required but the company was able to make these changes come in easily which make the company can have higher functioning. Company got time to innovate their products and services as well in the market so that they can attract more customers which is going to be very good for the organization stability in the market. Getting in changes in products and services from time to time is very important because that is going to help the organization be able to maintain their portfolio as well which is a very important factor. CONCLUSION From the above report it can be concluded that from any situation the business must experience, learn and be able to make the right decisions and planning for the future. There is a lot of competition in the market and the customers and market share also needs to be balanced in the organization.
