Dear Mr. Kim
I, Nick Puth, the HR of Big Hit creators, am writing this letter to inform you about the
breakdown of all the freelancers. In total only 90 freelancers are working with us in different
departments. There are 40 academic writers, 10 in proofreading, and 50 ghost-writers. 10
freelancers working as academic writers can be shifted to the proofreading department because
they hold the experience and are knowledgeable enough to proofread the content. Out of 50
ghost-writers, we can transfer 15 or 20 to academic writing because in peak season we have
surplus orders but have to leave opportunities because of deficiency of academic writers.
Besides, we need at least 20 new editors for maintaining the speed of work in peak season. Also
we should keep changing employee’s departments to let them learn, develop skills, and grow in
every department (1). The editing department of the company is much more profitable because
every other department is seasonal but we are always full of content editing orders but we have
let go of the orders because we don't have enough editors in staff. Also, we can utilize academic
writers for editing that will save the company's time and resources. Copywriting advertising can
be a profitable area for the company. We get a lot of offers to develop a brand or product but we
have to let go of some of them because we need experienced workers for this job.
I appreciate this opportunity to introduce the freelancers by their skill sets and areas that can be
profitable for us.
Thanking you
Sincerely
Nick Puth
