Teaching and learning in the digital world 1 Reflection Using web based e –tools assists the students to learn beyond that is taught in the classroom and hence is useful for both the teachers and the students. As stated byBora and Ahmed, (2013), several tools can be used to provide support to the students- The information resources, the cognitive tools, the knowledge modelling tools, the performance supporting tools and the information gathering tools. In order to search for the e-learning tools, I have come acrossseveraltoolsthatcanbeusedthatnotonlyallowstheteacherstogivealive demonstration to the students to regarding a particular topic, but also arouses motivation among the students (Baleni, 2015). The chosen tool for my Infographic is “Scratch”. It is a free visual programming language that has been designed for the children of age 8-16 years but can be applicable for the people of all the ages. This digital device facilitates block programming by using the graphical blocks for the representation of the program commands. Thus, facilitating improved learning among the children. Thus my paper and the chosen digital device is justifiable with the assessment task.
