The formative approach to appraisal is impressive as it emphasizes on enhancing learning
while summational appraisal record learning events at the end of particular lesson. The
information from constructive assessment, postscript by class tests or tasks, assist teacher in
ensuring reliable summational evaluation. Diagnostic Evaluation is effective tool as it allows
learner to gain memorable learning experience.
6.3 Utilising types and methods of assessment
Assessment methods are recognised as strategies, tools and techniques adopted or utilise
for assembling data in order to identify the extent to which learner show desirable learning
results. The following are methods should be used to assess student learning outcomes.
Alumni survey-This type of alumni can render data or information about learning satisfaction
that has been achieved or gained through learning event, preparation, status of employment,
power or ability to achieve success.
Comprehensive test-It helps teacher in determining the knowledge gained by learner.
Observations-Data or information can be gathered by observing several activities such as,
activities, social assembling,team Performance, etc.

7.1 Analysing the ways in which minimal significant and major element can be incontestable in
plan and assessing inclusive learning and teaching
During the planning of each lesson, it is required by teacher to ensure the inclusion of all
important element. For instance, the teacher can make use of numbers, charts and digram that are
best fitted in planning of lessons particularly with the subject but managing to fit it in when
students are using measurement for glazing there pottery or using the laser cutter which requires
practice measurements.
7.2 Applying minimal important element in preparation, delivering and assessment of inclusive
instruction as well as learnedness
Ways of demonstrating the four minimal important skills include:

 Literacy – It includes analysing the course of study and preparing notes ,syntax of own
and learners’ work
 Linguistic communication – listening and speaking. It also involves communicating with
learners in order to recognise their needs.
Numeracy – carrying out evaluations,measurement, interpretations, and calculations
related to the determination of time required in assessment process (Lin, Rattray and Walker-
Gleaves, 2018)
Communication theories and its impact on learning
Interconnected psychological system has been defined by Piaget. It describes that it is very
easy to make effective communication with others by gathering prior knowledge about person.
Vygotsky has stated that there are various aspect that affect overall cognitive development of the
person and socio cultural aspect is one of them. Individual has explained that students are
required to be guided by teachers and with the help of proper guidance they can be able to
improve their knowledge. Bernsterin discusses that language plays significant role in
communication. If students are using appropriate language then it would be helpful for teachers
in measuring their intelligence level.
Cognitive development theory
Piaget has given this theory. Individual has described that if teachers motivate learners to
experiment things and develop their own understanding then it would be better for students
because this will help them in their self development. I can apply this theory during teaching to
students because by this way I would be able to enhance confidence of learners and improving
their critical thinking skill.
Language code theory
Basia Bernstein has given theory of language code that explains if individual is using
appropriate language then this can be helpful in development of students. This can make them
aware with social aspects and they can improve their knowledge.
Vygotsky theory of cognitive development
Cultural aspects can be better for the students because this can support them in gaining
new knowledge and interacting in society effectively.

Communication method, their benefits and limitations
Teachers can use various kind of communication method in order to coordinate well with
students.
Verbal communication
Teachers can coordinate with students verbally.
Benefit
 This is most effective communication tool because it minimizes changes of occurring
confusion between student and teachers.
 Teachers can use appropriate words so that learners can develop their knowledge.
Limitation
 If there is cultural difference then words can create misunderstanding.
 In verbal communication both teachers and students cannot maintain record of their
discussion.
Written communication method
Teachers can coordinate with their learners through written communication method.
Benefit
 Teachers can coordinate with their students if they are far away from this place. For
example if teachers want to send notes to their student then they can send it through email
within few seconds.
 This is cost effective method and save time as well.
 There is written evidence of interaction so no confusion can take place.
Limitation
 Data can be leaked in written communication.
 Teachers can not develop personal relationship in written interaction with students.

8.1 Reviewing the effectualness of Personal practices in plans, deliveries and in assessment of
comprehensive learning and teaching
I perceive that Feedback is the factor that have formatives nature. As it is not only limited
to an end point procedure, and is mixed with goal setting, reflection and other evaluation
procedures. I have realized by reading or learning behaviourist theory that reinforcement has
both adverse and positive aspects. For instance, I have experienced that when I appreciate my

students for their performance they feel motivated and take interest in participating in other
activities too. I think that revision is another method that can assist me in identifying the level of
understanding among student and providing them with suitable instruction.
8.2 Identify Area of improvement in own practices
As per the feedback of learner I need to develop my focus on recognising the need of
students and fulfilling the same. I have made various consideration about the effect which the
particular strategy will have on student behaviour and performance at workplace. These
strategies also have great effect on the task performed, outcome generated by pupil. The purpose
of adopting the differentiation strategy is to help learner with different learning capacity to gain
knowledge and develop about various practices. It also intends to provide secondary option of
appraisal which increases possibility for children to show their understanding as well as
knowledge. As per the feedback or suggestion of Professional, I should develop my own
teaching practices.
I believe that , it is necessary for teacher to provide effective and suitable feedback on
regular interval to students. As this factor has direct effect on performance of learner. It will
help learners in improving their performance and enhancing their learning capacity. As per
various theories, models, assessment and Evaluation, I believe that I need to develop my focus
on recognising the need of students and fulfilling the same.
CONCLUSION
According to this report, it can be concluded that for providing better opportunities to the
learners it is very important for the teachers to identify the core requirements of the individual as
a learner. It has been also seen that it is very essential for the students to develop learning
attitude in order to enhance the interpersonal and technical skills. Teaching, learning and
assessment in education and learning is a concept which lay emphasis on the establishment of the
teachers learners along with the teachers.
