INTRODUCTION
Teaching is considered to be one of the most important and the challenging profession
and requires deep knowledge for the purpose to provide students with high quality education. In
this report it involves the research on the various topics that involves analysis of the teaching
profession and initial and diagnostic assessment with the points of referral and description of the
legislative requirements. The report further involves the explanation regarding meeting the
individual learners needs and various type of assessments. In addition to that it involves the
portfolio of the teaching evidence that involves the evaluation and personal analysis.

Analysis of own roles and responsibilities in education and training
A Teaching cycle basically involves the three stages that includes the teaching faculty
candidates that involves a learning process and also engaging in the in depth process of the co
reflection. The teaching cycle basically involves the planning and teaching and assisting with
completion of the responsibilities and roles(Makransky, Borre‐Gude and Mayer, 2019).
In context to the teaching cycle, the first stage involves the responsibility of the teacher to
create equity minded instructions for the purpose to meet the needs of students. Moreover, it
involves the responsibility of the teacher to optimize their learning potential and needs of all the
students. The major negative factor of this stage is that it very time consuming and costly.
In context to the second stage of the teaching cycle it involves the implementation of the
planned curriculum and syllabus in definite time period and also helps in showcasing instructions
and completing them in the classroom. The major roles and responsibilities involves ensuring the
completion of the curriculum in a defined manner while the negative factor involves the
reduction in the student engagement and rigid responsibilities(Evans, 2021).
In context to the third stage of the teaching cycle, it involves the responsibilities and
rules that involves the facilitating assessment with the use of results in order to enhance success
of the student. It helps in providing the benefits of the continuous development while the

negative factor involves the mind numbing for student and repetitive education due to continuous
assessment and testing(Cleary, 2018).
Legislative requirements and codes of practice related to own roles and responsibilities
There are various legislative requirements which are important for providing the student
with a better surroundings which is important for the purpose to complete the education. In
context to education, the health and safety at work, 1974 plays a very important role in ensuring
that the students in the system of education or educational institutions are not exposed to any
kind of risk related to health and mental well being. It involves the data protection act, 2018
which helps the students for the intended educational purpose and collection of the private data
and associated with the educational institution for the purpose to secure manner. In context to
organisation, there are various generic legislation in relation to health and safety, data protection
and much more. The codes of practice from membership organisation involves;
Society for Education and Training( SET) : In context to SET, it is basically a professional
membership organisation for the trainers and teachers which further helps in progressing your
career. The SET is basically a member led professional body for the assessors, individual
teachers and member led professional body.
The data protection Act, 2018 : Under this act, it provides the individuals the right to access data
and information in relation to themselves which is basically held by the organisation and guides
in how personal information need to be processed, collected and stored.
Analysis of relationship and boundaries between teaching role and other professional role
In context to the teaching and professional role it is important create boundaries and
maintain healthy relationships for the purpose to deliver quality education to each and every
student in the organisation and fulfilling their needs for the learning. The most effective way is to
maintain relationship with other professionals in the teaching field for the purpose to

communicate in a effective manner and showcase their empathy. Moreover, shared experience
with the professionals helps in achieving learning and teaching goals for the purpose to build
effective and healthy relationship professionally. It is important to create clear structures that

communication, job description, structure of management, team responsibilities and roles and

The points of referral are defined as the process that helps the teacher to provide support
to the students. With the help of study materials it helps in uplifting the knowledge of students.
Moreover, it helps in improving academic performance and professional career which helps the
students to make improvements.
Initial and diagnostic in individual learning goal formation
The diagnostic and initial assessment tools basically helps the teachers in identifying the
proficiency level of the student in relation to the knowledge and skills which helps in
understanding the improvement level made by the students. In context to the effective initial
diagnostic tool it involves literacy tests and Numeracy which helps in determining the skills of a

Ways of promoting equality and diversity
The most effective way and method to promote diversity and equality basically involves
the educational institutions which involves adoption of the various learning styles that helps in
addressing the needs of the students for the purpose to improve performance of the employees. It
also includes using technology for the purpose to support the students who comes from different
cultural backgrounds that involves learning materials and text technology in various languages.
In context to teaching and leaning, it comprises of various differences that involves language,
exclusivity, gender and cultural differences. In context to teachers, it is very important to use the
right working pattern and be well aware of the different learner needs that comprises of
community projects, providing additional resources, working with others and recognising

The diagnostic assessment is basically conducted prior the planning process and this
assessment helps in understanding the skills, strengths and weakness which are possessed by the

In case of teaching relative to the personal education field, the positive aspects helps in

manner. The negative elements of teaching is based of feedback that are not constructed in a

The main area for the improves relative to personnel teaching and learning as well as
assessing in specific education files in to enhance time management in order to be quickly attain
set learning objective within a specific time frame. This can be accomplished through the
utilization of various time management tools such as 4-D time management and POMODARO
technique based on writing education of the students. In addition to this, the communication as
well as coordination with other professionals such as caretakers can also help the students to
enhance their learning objective and individual learning needs that can be achieved in a set
period of times and help in improving performance as well as productivity.

From the above report it can be concluded that, teaching learning along with assessing
students consists of various different activities as well as collaboration with other professionals
in order to improve the overall quality of a students educational experience. In addition to this, it
