INTRODUCTION
Today, one of the major challenge that can be considered in mentoring health care
professionals is to provide guidance and learning in order to tackle world wide health challenges
and also to serve in complicated and complex health care atmosphere. To ensure that they are
eligible to practice in such environment. In order to fit in criteria, nurse practitioners may face
ethical and professionals issues also (Dias, Hapsari, & Adang, 2018). The nurse teaching consists
two essential part that are theoretical and practical training. The nurse education is carried it in the
clinical environments. Therefore, it has been considered as integral part. Nursing is a performance
based filed. The highlighted challenges in developing countries are inadequate tutoring of
healthcare professionals, lack of motivation and opportunities, disturbed small mix and so on. This
report majorly focus on the magnitude of teaching in nursing and also major attributes of mentor
that should be provided to patients and also role model of values, believes and behaviour.

Significance Of Mentoring In Clinical Teaching-learning
In nursing, the teaching are crucially required for providing relevant health teaching to the
patients, and to role model the professional values and behaviours mentoring might help them to
cultivate, retain and diversify the workforce. The process of mentoring is similar like a old school
pattern that may involves learning and understanding of theories, principles, acts and models which
should be practised and followed by each individual in health care system. It may also help in
developing personality of nurses such as being polite and composure towards patients, principle
which are applied in the relation of patients and healthcare, code of conduct and so on.
Teaching also provide nurses to learn Hence it may help to them to develop new skill and
also foster their leadership skills that nurse practitioners require to safe and secure larger roles in
development, designing as well as delivering quality of care. (Mfuh, & Lukong,2019).As per the
studies of Owens, 2017, it has been extracted that training of nurse may provide them discipline,
punctualities and also reduce cost of turnover.
Educating nurses is essential because as their filed of work is considered to be challenging
and in some cases they have to deal it by their own, in order to meet needs of patients. Indeed
nurses are totally responsible are crucially required for providing relevant health teaching to the
patients, and to role model the professional values and behaviours for teaching and to provide better
understanding of prevention and management of disease and their health conditions.
