2TEACHING STRATEGIES
1a.The learner here is Justin Beiber. Lovepreet will be teaching him how to take a proper shower
every morning after getting up and before going to work.
b. Justin Beiber is a resident of Canada and is very talented. He is one of the up-coming singing
stars.
1. During the day they are busy in their schools and their studies. Justin Beiber often gets very
less time for taking a self care. He does not get proper time to take a shower. Thus his friend will
teach him how to get up at 6.30am every morning and take a bath for 10 minutes at least.
c. Hobbies or interests include singing. Beiber devotes a huge time in practicing his songs on a
daily basis.
D. The people present in his life include his family, relatives and friends. Apart from this he is
influential among the music industry. He is having many colleagues and friends in the music
industry in Canada
2. I have decided that the best way to teach the self care is to proceed in step by step process.
There are about 20 different points or steps that talks about the different as in which one must
take shower. I will help Justin to manage the self care on a daily basis for duration of 10 minutes
and early in the morning (Brundiers & Wiek, 2017). This will be very useful for as he is a fresher
or a learner (Bradshaw & Hultquist, 2016). Thus taking the bath every day early morning by
devoting a small span of 10 minutes will not hamper his busy schedule in any way. The method
that I have selected is-

Reminding Justin every morning about taking shower, he is a beginner it is likely that he might
forget regarding taking a shower. Thus reminding him at least in the initial stages will be very
useful
As per my perception it is not right to force on a Beiber. Thus if Beiber says no then we will
postpone the class and will carry on later as per the wish of Beiber. However if Beiber says yes
then I will be taking Beiber for the bathing session. The process will take place with his
permission and also as per his time schedule (V Jeffreys, 2015).
As Beiber is much interested in singing, he will be asked to remember the steps through the
process of singing. Thus the song will help Beiber to remember the steps through the help of
songs
Goals Objectives Strategy
to teach the shower skill To make sure that Beiber is
able to take shower on his own
To set an alarm every morning
before 6.30 am
Maintaining a good physical
activity
The objective is to teach
Beiber how to maintain a
healthy life even in them
midst of such a strict and busy
schedule
Teach some free hand exercise
or some skills that will enable
Beiber to work out every
morning after getting up in the
morning
Developing pre and prior good
habits of bathing
To teach Beiber to develop the
healthy and safe habits like
setting the right temperature of
water, keeping all the need
To schedule a very simple,
easy to follow 20 steps plan
for Beiber. To make sure that
Beiber is able to follow these

materials like bath towel,
drying puff a d others
The other objective is to make
sure that Beiber does not fall
sick due to the sudden change
in his routine. Thus he will be
taught to dry is body with a
puff immediately after
completing his shower. This
will help him to keep safe
from the habit of catching a
cold.
rules through some lyrics or
some song. This will help him
to remember the steps on a
daily basis.

This teaching exercise was very useful for me. I also realized that in order to be a successful
teacher it is important to understand the area of interest of the student. Thus identifying that
Beiber is interested in singing has been very helpful. Asking him to remember the steps of taking

a proper shower has been very helpful. He has been able to keep in mind all the different steps to
take a successful bath each day. I will also be using the same strategy in future so that I am able
to teach the self care method to all the students in a proper way. As per my perception moving in
a well organized step by step manner is very useful for teaching the lessons in a proper way.
Thus in future I will be using the similar strategies for helping my students. I will also involve
parents in all the workshop activities and campaigns so that the families and parents can realize
the importance of teaching their children to be self dependent. This will help in developing
healthy habits among the children right from an early age.
