innovative or creative?
Development of e-commerce website makes the idea brief more innovative and creative as now-a-days, the customers are more preferred for
online services as in their busy life, and they have no time to visit the store for purchasing purposes. Therefore, through the online store the
customers can order their product and receive it at the doorstep.
2 What are the benefits of
this idea over others?
This idea will benefit the store so that the LocalBooks store can increase more business revenue, turnaround their business failure and achieve of
more profitability from the store through e-commerce website.
3 What will the idea cost
to implement and when
will it break even?
Delivering of the e-commerce website is considered cost for specifications of the website, human resources and training requirements of the
staffs. The ideal cost for implementation of the website is to be $65,000. It will breakeven within 1 year.
4 What are the risks or
unknowns associated
with this idea?
The risks are to complete the development work of the website within scheduled time and estimated budget. There are also chances of scope
creep and custom coding overrun.
5 Why do you (as a team)
believe this idea will be
successful?
I as a team believed that development of e-commerce website is the best idea for the bookstore as in the online website the description of the
books are provided, availability throughout search engines, reduction of ,maintenance and inventory cost and computerized services and
therefore it is competent.

As the LocalBooks has very few staffs, therefore this online platform is the best solution for the business as in the physical store, there is requirement of inventory
cost and maintenance cost to maintain the infrastructure, but in online business, the store can only require to update the customers about latest arrival of the
books with all in-depth details of the books.

All the team members think of IT related area. In current days, people are more involved into online
and social media platform. They preferred to shop online as it is a hassle free work and involved into
social media to interact with each others. The goals behind IT related ideas are enable the
bookstore to sell the products online, gather of requirements of the website, develop of website for
increasing of revenue, and develop of website in allocated cost and time.
