In the present era, business communication is necessary for getting success in the business. It is
the best way to grow business at a high level. In addition, teamwork is a good skill for the management
of various businesses. According to Cardon and Marshall (2015), collaboration is necessary between
various groups of an organization to improve knowledge and their skills. In addition, it will provide
better results in the future as well.
Based on Espinosa, Nan, and Carmel, (2015), teams can perform better in critical situations
apart from individuals. As leaders always, make a team to solve critical situations. Therefore, business
requires teams for managing various operations and functions of an organization. There are many
business processes in an organization, such as marketing, sales, finance, and many others.
All those processes require effective business communication, which provides growth and
success to the organization in the market. There are various potential challenges occurs in front of an
organization, which can be solved using business communication and teamwork.
According to Carrasco, (2017), business communication and teamwork provide better outputs in
most of the operations. It increases the output of that business functions. Teams can provide more
resources and skills to dissolve a problem. There is a good source of reality in a team, which make good
business communication. Especially while the corporations are too large, there is a phenomenon in
which a number of them who are inside the group will paintings less than they could personally, hoping
that the relaxation of the organization will make amends for their reluctance. To keep away from this
type of state of affairs, it will be important to contain all the participants of the organization.
Moreover, teams can be used for unbiased execution in a business, which is beneficial for the
employees and organizations. In addition, the team can be divide whole work in various divisions and
make small modules, which is easy to complete a work.
Communication skill can improve because of the team, as collaboration is necessary to complete
a work, which requires communication. Therefore, effective business communication is necessary to
complete the whole work. Business communication is necessary, most of the leaders follow that
effective communication, and the team can complete whole work in proper order. A huge advantage of

a team is to use different strengths of team members to solve a problem or complete work in a good
manner.
There are some disadvantages of teams, such as no freedom for individual thinking. It is
required in a few cases in which a person can use their thoughts for solving a critical problem. In the
case of teamwork, it is more difficult to evaluate the performance of an individual person. In addition, it
creates the possibility of unequal credit because the team completed whole work and credit goes to the
whole team. It creates an incorrect competitive attitude between all team members, which is not good
for the business and organization as well. Sometimes, team members are confused because their ideas
clash. It is a potential challenge to handle a critical situation. Teamwork is also helping in brainstorming,
which is good for the problem-solving approach.
Furthermore, the complex problem takes time to solve by individuals. Therefore, the team
requires solving a problem. It is a good way to develop various abilities and skills. However, the decision-
making process is slower in teams because it requires the agreement of all the team members. Teams
are more productive as compared to individuals. There are various advantages of teamwork, such as
information sharing, learning, more resources, more reliable, and many others. Teamwork provides
various opportunities, as an example, Atlassian got huge success in the market because of teamwork
(Atlassian, 2019). In addition, (Johnson, 2018), there is various advantage of the team for business and
communication. Besides, there is a huge list of advantages of teams in case of business perspective. In
addition, effective communication is developed because of teams (Joshi, 2018).
According to Reddy (2019), there are few disadvantages of the team, which makes an impact on
the individual works or participation. According to (Van Thielen, Decramer, Vanderstraeten, &
Audenaert, 2018), teams can increase the performance of employees and their efficiency of work. The
people who shape a group will have numerous backgrounds, approaches of being, training, and all
varieties of specific expert and life reviews, in an effort to be a continuous opportunity to preserve
gaining knowledge of matters. Teamwork can increase people both professionally and on a non-public
degree, and that is priceless.
For the group to sense inspired, it is suitable that all of its individuals or as a minimum most of
them believe the selections that the group makes, and from time to time that won’t be easy and could
contain making an investment a super deal of time in accomplishing a commonplace role. Teams can

provide better performance as compared to the individual but individuals make a team. Therefore,
individual participation is necessary for all the work.
In conclusion, the team is good for large and critical work and it provides many benefits to the
organization. In addition, teamwork is key for solving various critical issues, which are faced by an
organization. However, individual can provide different idea about a problem as well. While an
individual cannot solve large issues, which are required team spirit and teams (Van Thielen, Decramer,
Vanderstraeten, & Audenaert, 2018).
Furthermore, teams have many advantages and some disadvantages. Therefore, based on the
requirements, the team should be formed for work. Otherwise, an individual can complete their work
properly with proper credit of their work. Besides, the individual cannot break many hurdles, which
requires teamwork. Business communication can develop because of teams or groups (Johnson, 2018).
