INTRODUCTION
Technical report contains all the details about the project outcomes. After creating the
technical report researcher handover, it to the project’s sponsor. Main purpose of maintaining
and preparing the technical report is to clearly evaluate the technical work which is done and the
result that is gained or implications of the outcomes (Rajakumar & et.al 2020). Following study
is based on the technical report that is about the photon educational robot by the photon
entertainment. Company has created the educational robot that aims to assist the children in their
learning process, this robot will help the child to develop their logical thinking or abilities in
order to address any problem which they encountered in their learning process. It is designed for
the children from 5 to 12-year age, it relies completely on its user to learn the new skills. It also
consists of the fun features that are to detect the sound, obstacles, black lines. Following report
will cover the description about the multitier supply chain diagram, discussion and justification
for the suppliers that are selected.
MAIN BODY
Software specification and its requirements
Photon educational robot which depends on the solid, playful devices and on other sensors to
attract the children to take use of it in order to develop skills. It provides the progressive and
better calibrated teaching and other scientific subjects and present it with the specific activities,
games and other challenges that helps the children to enhance their knowledge (Xiao & et.al
2022). This robot is dedicated with the individual learning and allows the child to gather the
point for their every win it helps them to increase their focus in learning activities. Its one of the
advantage is that it helps the children in clearing their concept about programming and also assist
them to develop problem solving skills. For the technical requirement of the photon robot
suitable lists is discussed below:

Photon robot is available in the market in two forms that is home and educational versions,
where the versions does not differentiate in construction aspect yet they provide the better access
to the application. Where home robot generally does not provide the connectivity with the
educational version of the photon robot.
There are certainly three mobile apps available for the photon robot which are user
friendly and can be available on the devices (Inamura, Mizuchi & Yamada, 2021). It is also
found that producer of the robot is planning to launch the photon magic bridge app that will
enable then user to use the photon program directly from their window operating system.
Development of Photon robot was financed by the crowdfunding operation that is why photon
robot was more famous even before its launching. Photon is mobile robot that includes the LED
lights, speaker and sensor. Light and touch device are present inside its head where the distance
sensor device is present on robot’s front other four contrast devices are hidden underneath that
work as to analyse the surface. Producer of the robot have developed the four distinct virtual

Safety consideration of photon educational robot
Photon robot is created with safety as producer has consider safety as top priority. Robot
is made for children that is why it is important to pass all security concept, it is made with the
child friendly materials as well as internal electronics are safe that are kept inaccessible to child.
For the photon robot failure mode and effect analysis has been done (Vasilevich & de Boer,
2018). It is the systematic approach helps in identifying the failure and its cause of particular
device also analyse the potential impacts of the other failures, thus it helps in modification of the
device so that it can be made properly.
Failure mode Effects and analysis Strategies to mitigate
problem
Update problem Robot shut down and affects
its components
Update it from other device
Error (bugs) Improper functioning of the
application
Maintenance check,
replacement of batteries
Power disruption It do not properly charge and
also affects its battery life
Proper maintenance and
appropriate programming
Software testing and validation
Software testing and validation is the process of evaluating the software device in its
development phase or at the ending of its creation process to identify whether it is able to meet
the business requirements or not (Iwasaki & et.al 2021). Validating testing is all about to test
whether particular product is actually meeting the client requirement. Photon robot is tested with
the help of dog, cat and it is found that they enjoyed a lot with robot. For the robot generally
three test process is evaluated that are unit tests, integration and regression tests. Together these
tests help in verification and validating robustness of the robot. Photon robot can be controlled
remotely with the help of apps; it is an autonomous system; this robot is designed for the
individual learning where the tasks in it relies on the role playing stories in apps. This robot is
taken straight out of the packaging and can do nothing for its functioning children are required to
teach him about everything through scratch as how to perform, how to move and how to interact
and respond with certain environment by using its sensors (Han & et.al 2018). Thus it is

Multi-tier supply chain diagram
Multi-tier supply chain refers to the single networking process which describe the details about
the relationship between the different buyers and suppliers. Because of the globalisation it is
considers as the major strategic force to lowers the prices and to decrease the capital assets and
to get the goods to market before competition. Cloud and other technologies are beneficial to
make the multi-tier supply chain more visible (Spiegel & et.al 2020). Connectivity in this allows
for the essential collaboration and communication among the groups, where it also highlighting
the visibility that covers the prediction, demand and inventory. There is also found that this
process also created the complexity along with the lessor few control over the manufacturing
process.
