to use it. Any kind of technology can be used by people in good or bad or neutral manner. There
are various kind of technologies that are used by humans such as semiconductor industry,
artificial intelligence, robots and internet. People cannot even imagine to live without
internet , softwares and technology as it is the crucial demand of present era that is
irreversible. It depends on humans how and with what intention they use the technology to
create any positive or negative impact on the environment or economy. Every technology has the
power to be constructive or destructive (Kalinina, Inshakova and Elkhina, 2022). For example,
the nuclear explosion in Japan was caused by humans and not technology. It was intended for
bad purposes. Technology can be used for the welfare and development of humans as a
contributor to massive construction. It can also be used for massive destruction according to the
intention of humans. With the help of digital technology , individuals can save secure the digital
information and it is also the individuals who make misuse of information. It can create benefits
for humankind by providing them understanding of mitigating the risks of destruction. So, it
depends on the use by humans whether for good or bad purposes.

The technological drivers help in transforming the current IT power into future's great
talent. The Digital Transformation is the most crucial driver of technological change. It has a
great requirement particularly in financial services. It has provided the humans the ways to get
transformed from conventional channels to digital channels such as social media platforms,
internet banking and mobile banking etc. for bringing modernization and innovation in the
business, IT is the best way to be introduced through digital transformation in the organization as
it helps for products up gradation as well in the business (Lin and Li, 2022). The other driver of
technological change is artificial intelligence that has also emerged as a great benefit for the
organizations for using it as a tool to find the financial advisor for match-making to clients. The
up gradation of skills is another driver for technological change. Humans need to develop skills
to understand the innovative technology like digital transformation, artificial intelligence and

digital marketing etc. they need to learn various IT and technical skills to become more IT
savvy. Technology has provided many benefits to the society including businesses and
economies. It facilitates in globalization and businesses to adopt technology for digital
marketing. However, it has some negative impact as well on consumer behaviour such as the

regardless of their social status, age, physical abilities, gender, geographic location etc.
Technology can be accessed by any segment or group of people as it creates job and income
opportunities for the individuals, and facilitates for positive societal outcomes if used for good
purposes and not for the evil ones. The new and innovative technologies have power to make
improvements in economic and social contribution. The technological progress is absolutely
equitable for the individuals, businesses, educators or students according to their intention to

structured engineering designs etc. On the other hand, innovation is the process of assessing the
changes in technology to improve it and make it more useful for the humankind. The technology
is entirely derived from innovation. To express in a nutshell, technology is the application of
scientific principles for developing devices or machineries by knowledge of science and
innovation refers to the new ways of using technology and its improvements such s artificial

intelligence , digital transformation etc. (Zhong, Wang and Yao, 2022). The today's technology
is the innovation as compared to the past that have impacted the lives of people in a more
positive way by contributing to their living standards and economies of nations as well.

Reliability and risk analysis refers to assessing the risks of any developed technology.
For example, some methods of engineering reliability and analysis of risks are developed that
facilitate in forecasting and in mitigating the risks of any failure in the technological systems.
The second method for evaluation of technological progress is Economic Analysis. It refers to
the best use of safe technologies to be economically feasible by preventing the accidents. It
includes the cost of initiation of technology, maintenance costs and affect on effectiveness and
reliability of production systems. The third one includes Skills and Experience to be analysed
with individuals. People learn technical and IT skills to become more technology savvy. They
join various Research and development centres and participates in University-affiliated research
centres to learn skills and have experience In technological aspects that contributes to the

contributed to businesses and economy by providing extraordinary benefits, but still it has some
negative impacts on newer generation as well. It has positive impact on society like health care
advancements. Some pharmaceutical companies take help of AI supported drug . There are
various Telemedicine apps for making the healthcare accessible and equitable to all segment of
people. Education has also been impacted in positive manner by technology as students made
use of technology by virtual learning during Covid19. For example, a new start up such as
Immerse use VR for providing students learning English skills b y communicating with VR
handset. The negative impacts of technology include the impact of social media on mental
health. The newer generation makes more use of social media platforms that causes mental
health issues, stress and depression among them. Another negative impact of technology is
spreading of Fake news and misuse of information. For example, Deepfakes for the social

media platforms. The happening of deep-fake incidents is a negative impact of digital
technological progress.

Technological progress is a very crucial factor in determining the growth of economy. It

increasing the supplies of natural resources. This progress facilitates the increase in
productivity of labour , capital and other resources an thereby increases the total factor

The technological progress is supported by two crucial factors i.e. Technology or science
push and Demand pull. Technology or Science push includes the factors that increase the

supply of technological alternatives or options by the development and advancement of
Science or Technology. Demand Pull includes the factors that increases the demand or prices
of the specific or particular technologies. There is a huge importance of technology-push and
demand-pull factors in contributing to innovation. Technology push develops inventions mainly
in policy support countries whereas demand-pull increases demand or prices domestically as well
as in foreign. Science Push is better as it deals in developing the technology advancement
which is the true technological progress (Wang and et. al., 2022). The progress caused by
increasing the demand or prices of specific technology is not actual progress. The technological
progress is drived by science or technology push that enhances technological advancement.

resources in such manner that facilitates their renewal or existence for others or coming
generation. It is the development that fulfils the present requirement without any compromise
with the availability of resources for future generations for fulfilling their requirements
(Ugwoji, 2022). The example of sustainable development includes Solar energy that is entirely
free and has great supply. It helps in reducing pollution. Non renewable energy can be replaced
with this energy that will create sustainable advantage for the environment. Some other examples
of sustainable development include Wind energy, rotation of crops etc.
