INTRODUCTION
Technology enables an individual to communicate, learn and determine the ways to
interact with each other on daily basis. Cloud computing is a technology that provide various
types of services such as storage, databases, servers, networking, software etc. by using internet.
The remote servers are provided by the cloud computing for which they pay rent to the third-
party provider (Gupta and et.al., 2021). Cloud computing include many features that it provides
to its users such as includes on demand self-service, wide network approach, resource pooling
and many more. The example has been taken of an organisation is Amazon which is a
multinational corporation involves in the working of e-commerce, cloud computing, digital

streaming and artificial intelligence. The report will focus on the role of the cloud computing that
the current organisation has adopted with benefits. It will discuss about the security requirement
that are implemented by an organization and the framework as well which is used for the security
and control of data.

computing service models
The cloud computing is a network of the servers that is used over the internet to share the
information, resources and software (Zou and Jian,2021). The internet has given us many
benefits because it is like an invisible cable that assist in connecting everything with their
physical and invisible servers. The cloud is a storage where things are shared over the network
and maintains or control the information (Zou and Jian,2021). There are various roles or service
models of the cloud computing that are used by the Morden day organisation are discussed
under:
 Infrastructure-as-a-service(IaaS): It is a cloud computing service which offers various
resources include the calculate, network and storage to the users on demand, on a pay-as-
you-go basis over the internet. It enables the user to scale and shrink the resources on the
basis of their need. It provides the range of services to the users which includes the detail
billing, monitoring, log access, security clustering etc. this services help in eliminating
the cost of the assembling and managing the data centre and enable the IT team to focus
on the core business. The service help in increasing the performance and the security as
well. This also support the recovery of the data and increased the continuity of the
business. The common examples includes amazon web services that renders absolute
computing stack which enable an organisation to position any accumulation or software
and hardware store.
 Platform-as-a-service (Paas): It is a computing model where the hardware, software and
infrastructure tools are by the third-party provider to its customers over the internet so
that it can develop, manage and run the application without the expenditure, complexness
and rigidity. The user of the services can frequently access it through the web browser
and this can be offered through the private, public and hybrid clouds. It helps in
developing the collaboration among the team members by designing and developing the
application. It assists in web service integration and database integration and provide the

security of information with development and testing of application. As amazon offers
various cloud computing services such as AWS that includes EC2, RDS, S3 etc.
 Software-as-a-service (SaaS): It is a service that allow the users to connect with each
other by using the different application over the internet. An individual need not to install
and maintain any software, but it is already installed and assembled where a user can
simply access the services through the net (Hiran,2021). Therefore, it saves the time of
installation and incur low cost on acquiring the license of hardware and software. It has
scalability and integration with the SaaS offerings in terms of server capacity planning.
The cost that are associated with the the upgrades are lower as compared with the
traditional model and easy to use because it contains the best practices and samples. With
reference to Amazon, it provides a cloud guru services that is a online cloud training
platform which enable it to sell cloud guru AWS training and certificate on the AWS
marketplace.
(B) Key benefits organisations like Amazon gain after adopting Cloud Computing
Cloud computing offers various benefits to the organisation in order to perform the
various functions and operations of a business. In context to Amazon, the benefits that are gained
by a business concern are as below:
 Reduce cost: Cloud computing eliminates the cost of maintaining and managing the IT
system such as buying hardware and software to run the site and so on. An organisation
need not to purchase the expensive system and equipment’s fort the business. Amazon
also get benefits of the cloud computing which help in reducing the cost by using the
effective resources of the service provider (Oke and et.al.,2021). It needs not to pay the
extra wage to the staff and the cost of the energy consumption also get reduced. In
relation to Amazon, there are thousand of the customers which uses the services of cloud
computing which help the AWS to achieve the higher economies of scales that assist in
translating into the lower as-you-go prices and trade fixed expenses for the variable
expenses.
 Speed: Amazon uses the services of cloud computing which it assists in doing the work
in few minutes with just few mouse clicks. A business concern is able to get the
flexibility in operating their business and also reduce the pressure of the capacity
planning. It also provides the self service and on demand that help in getting the work

done so quickly. The revenue of the Amazon has increased up to 33% in the third quarter
with the help of such cloud computing services.
 Scalability: With reference to Amazon, the cloud computing provide benefit of the
metastability where the user can access the storage according to the need. The cloud
services provider helps in delivering the resources such as more or less computing power,
storage, information measure and so on.
 Business continuity: Cloud computing provide security of data and the system as well
which help the business to plan continuity. Amazon uses cloud computing which assist
backup of the data and restore it to the safe and secure location. Therefore, the company
can easily access the data again which allow an organisation to continue its business.
 Collaboration efficiency: Amazon can easily collaborate outside by sharing the
information to different locations with the whelk if the cloud computing (Faridi and
et.al.,2022). It enables the organisation to give access of the same files to employees and

implementing the strong security features. Therefore, a business concern can use the cloud
computing features which eliminate all capital expense that are attached with the cyber security
(Shahbaznezhad, Kolini and Rashidirad,2021). In relation to Amazon, an organization implement
the security feature which are demonstrated as under:
 Internal firewalls for the individual application and databases: A firewall is security
service which help in monitoring the traffic of network. It protects the internal network
by filtering inbound and outbound traffic that are based on the set rules. Amazon uses the
firewall which assist in preventing the external and internal attacks that is big threat to an
organization(Kantheti and Manne, 2022). Therefore, an infrastructure set the firewall
system to secure the sensitive data and application that reduces the risk from both internal
and the external sources. It assists in securing the data of the customers and also build
their confidence level and improve the trust of the important investors and the lenders.
 Data-at-Rest Encryption: An organisation uses the encryption of data to protect the
sensitive information from being misused or hacked by the wrong party. The encryption
of the data is store on the cloud infrastructure which help in minimising the risk of data
stolen that can be used against the company or reduced the customers before getting them
later so that they can protect their identities (Collier and Sarkis, 2021). In relation to
Amazon, the data can be secured by an organization and the identity of the customers and
the employees are also protected from being hacked by the hackers. This help in proving
the integrity of data and build the trust of the customers.

standard to track and recording the attempt of intrusion. Therefore, the company that need
to meet the requirement for the compliance standard can use the IDS logging solution
which help in updating the rules for security of firewalls. This alert the company from the
threat signals and the malicious IP address that are detected by the users. In context to
Amazon, it uses the intrusion detection system because it ensures less disruption and
reduced the number of security incidents (Liu, Wang,and Wu,2021). It records the
activities of the network so that it can take action when find the any malicious activity.
Therefore, the implementation of the security in assists the organisation in protecting the
sensitive information or data that can be hacked by the attackers. It is designed as to prevent data
from being leaked. It provides the protection against the threat and also mitigate the risk of losing
data.
Framework
The framework of the security contains the number of documents that clearly stated the
policies, procedures and process that are adopted by an organisation. The parties are explained in
detail how these system or services are managed by a business concern. An organisation uses this
framework to reduce the level of risk that may face during their business operations. Therefore,

implementation and framework profiles. The framework core provides the activities for the
cybersecurity that enable to understand the common language. The framework implementation

helps the organisation in providing perspective to view the cybersecurity risk management. The
framework profiles help in identifying the opportunities for improving the cybersecurity in an
organisation. This is a superior and indifferent cyber security framework which assist an

can priorities the activities based on the importance to continue the business. It enables an

users, processes and applications. The things that are engaged in the network from servers to
wireless routers comes entirely to make a network infrastructure of system (Niu and et.al.,2021).
The networking infrastructure that is used by Amazon is AWS that stands for Amazon Web
Services which is an across-the-board cloud computing platform that is offered by Amazon and
this network infrastructure includes a mix of infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a
service (PaaS) along with packaged software as a service (SaaS) providing. AWS uses direct
connect network that provides a private connection between the on-premises data of a customer
and AWS cloud by not making use of the public data. Such Amazon networking service makes
use of an Ethernet cable in order to connect internal workloads of company to one of AWS'

direct connection locations (Odendaal, 2021). AWS as a cloud computing empire helps Amazon
in conducting its daily business operations and also has proven the capability for achieving the

daily business functions such as advertising and marketing, providing financial services, gaming
and many more.

Network Software such as Network operations and management, operating systems, Firewall,
Network Security Applications and Network services that include T-1 Line, DSL, Satellite, IP
addressing, Wireless protocols, etc (Zhao and et.al., 2021). This networking infrastructure
ensures an effective as well as best practice standards and conformity with the regulatory
requirements. All these will provide assistance to Amazon in enhancing the networking privacy
within the company and provides customers and users support so that they can use their devices
in freely manner (Simpson and Semaan, 2021). Network Security Applications is that
networking infrastructure which provide assistance to an organisation in minimising the threats
that are concerned with the loss of data, stolen of data and information sabotage. This network
base may help Amazon in enabling the people or even computers in order to communicate with
the help of a network. This may facilitate the company in keeping its sensitive data safe from the
cyber-attacks as well as makes sure that the network is usable and can be trusted (Heft, 2021).

Minimum = 38000 whose country is Nigeria.
Maximum= 215000 which means UAE is considered as Mode as it has largest modal
value.
Mean= sum of all observations / no. of observations = 835000 / 7 = 119285.714
Median= 113000 which means Germany is considered as median.

ii) The number of countries during Q2 with a forecast of more than £27000 = 4 countries
iii) The number of countries during Q4 with a forecast of less than £15000 = 1 country
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion, it has been concluded that cloud computing is significant for
the business because it provides a good platform to share the information and make collaboration
with security. Cloud computing assist an organisation to back up and restore data when meet
with the cyber disaster and provide the easy accessibility of the data by ensuring that it is
accessible. An organisation can easily get the services of cloud computing at minimum cost and
have the low maintenance cost. It provides the good quality control and the unlimited storage
capacity where an organisation is able to secure the lots of sensitive data and access it from
anywhere or anytime. The report has discussed about the role of the cloud computing with
various model’s services and also discussed the benefits that it provides to the administration.
The report has explained the security requirement that company need to implement. It elaborated
the network infrastructure of the organisation of its daily operation.
